I started compiling a list of GB's that eSoundz has had in the Drumcore GB thread. It's probably clutter over there, but it would be fun to talk about some of the GB's you've been in, and compile a complete list. Here's what we have so far. If you think of any others, jump in!
1 Sonik Synth 1 bundle Group Buy 8/04
2 Squids Tron Collection 9/04
3 Sonik Capsules Complete 3/05
4 Sonik Tank 2 Bundle 5/05
5 World Instruments GB 9/05
6 Piano GB (this was for Reason only IIRC)
7 Reason Refill GB
8 Studio Profiles Special Edition GB 3/06
9 REX 15 Pack GB 9/07
10 Sonik Synth 2 and Complete Capsules and Expansion Tank GB 11/07
11 Philharmonik and Orchestral Sound Pack GB 1/08
12 Amplitube Vintage GB 3/08
13 Rare and Vintage Instrument's GB 4/08
14 Drumcore GB 5/08
What was your first? What was your favorite? Which one you kicking youself for missing???

So there weren't links on the eSoundz website to these past GBs? If there were, then maybe the details of the deal are still there. I'm just wanting to suffer and find out what I missed out on. Re: Tron, I think in that one I lucked out, as I'd much rather have the Sampletron product and not duplicate things. And if Squids does some kind of cool Sampletron GB, well, then that transformed a missed opportunity into a new one. I'm all for that. Maybe a deal where you get Samplemoog for free if you buy Sampletron! Of course, I'd rather have additional "trons" tossed in that suppliment what is in Sampletron and have a Tron GB that is the be-all end-all tron spectacular.

Hey calex....your posting in here reminded me that there probably IS still info on them in this forum. It's gunna be tough finding it BUT I'm pretty sure it's here....
HG....
I think the most fun was the Studio Profiles GB...man that thing had some real legs...it also had the most unusual random bonus stuff...signed drum heads and sticks and such...
9,10 and 11 probably had the most content...with the Sonik Synth one being my favorite for content. The REX 15 pak was insane....something like 38 gigs.
If I didn't already have the plugs, the Amplitube Vintage would have been my favorite...
Rare and Vintage was pretty spectacular due to the free effect...the only plug I didn't already have was SVX so I got it and all the other stuff for around a normal cross grade price.
This Drumcore one is starting to rank up there with Sonik Synth #10 as my favorite for software and content....it fits in so nicely with the REX 15 pak and makes that GB content so much more accessible...
My problem now is that I own ALL of the IK stuff except Miro Classik, SampleMoog, ARC, AT Metal and the StompIO...
Don't need Miro Classik or ARC, don't want AT Metal (none of those stomps except the Flanger are ones I need), the StompIO is too expensive for my needs but I wouldn't mind getting SampleMoog so pretty much the only IK GB that would benefit me is one in which I got SampleMoog as part of the deal.
You listnin' Squidsy?

I think I'm most envious of 10, Sonik Synth. I thought Squids lost his mind when he tossed in the Capsules and Expansion Tanks in Sampletank format in there.
What a deal!!
The Studio Profiles definately had the coolest swag!

Does anyone have the link to the eSoundz site that has the Sonik Synth GB? Generally, they seem to be some kind of link with a number at the end of the URL. It would just be interesting to see the details of what had been in this thing. No doubt, I'd have loved to have been in on this thing as I bought Sonik Synth 2 outright with just the content that came with it generally and nothing expanding it. So I missed out bigtime I bet. What was the final price on that GB? I ignored it I guess because I figured I already owned the thing and didn't realize that the price probably was so low that just the extra sample content alone would have been worth joining the GB. Live and learn.

I have only particpated in about 4 or 5. I kind of beat myself out of some of the cool ones since I had already purchased things like Sampletank 2, Sonik Synth 2 and Ampitube 2 through preorders. No complaints however since I always got a fair price and excellent service.harmony gardens wrote:I think I'm most envious of 10, Sonik Synth. I do kick myself from time to time on missing the 15 REX pak however.

I got in on three of them - #1, #10 and #13. #1 (I think) got me crossgrade price on ST2XL, as well.
I already had Philharmonik, or I'd have gotten in on that, too.
