We have:

final implementation of Eleven osc mode
5 new osc fx
2 new (and much better!) compressor modes
new comb filter mode: Blown (useful?)
3 new lfo rate modes: 0.1s, 1s, 10s (seconds, host tempo independent)
new module type (audio): Sideband (Frequency shifter, like ringmodulator, but adds detune and/or vibrato at moderate settings)
new module type (modulator): ModMapper (kind of Modulator driven envelopes in some other synth)
[Bypass FX] switch... persists over preset change in project settings

What about that aliasing issue on AMD machines? Is it still inside?

I was going to ask for a freq shifter but didn't want to seem greedy. Fantastic. I think this may put the final nail in the coffin of the rest of my softsynth collection.

Let's first see how the new modules work out... there's probably some need for adjustment here and there...

Gosh, it felt good to put the weird work (i.e. full midification of Filterscape and stuff) aside and do a week of creative algorithm design

Urs, this is INSANE!!! I already came up with several new patches just messing around with one or two of the new features. So much good stuff, wow. "Eleven" really enables Zebra to do the massive trance sounds I've been looking for. Expect more presets from me soon

There's also a third one in the bottom.

These are Single Sideband Filters aka frequency shifters. They must not be confused with pitch shifters though. With SBs you can shift the signal in Hertz (where as pitch shifter detune in intervals). This creates a "detune sound" that's evenly pulsating along the whole spectrum (doesn't speed up with higher notes), but it also creates metallic sound when used intensively. Latter is because harmonics (tunes in intervals!) run out of intervalness and become unharmonic.

To get the full glory, use just a bit of Offset (stereo, left vs. right) in the 10Hz mode and mix it at 50%. Works much like a stereo phaser, only nicer

You can of course do all sorts of weirdness such as Vibrato, metallic percussion and what not.

Very cool update! My Hematohm needed some competition

By adding all these cool features for free I'm beginning to feel a little cheap, I will probably have to buy filterscape as well...

The FM in Zebra sounds cool on my AMD X2, but I usually like aliasing and distortion so maybe I'm the wrong kind of test subject

Excellent work on the new oscillator fx and 11 mode

You know they will only bring more smiles!

But I don't see any module appear for SB1/2 (the matrix box is filled, and I can hear a change in the sound) and I can't even see a 3 anywhere!

Anything I can do to fix this?

so busy with eleven and the new osc fx that I completely forgot to check out the new modules. That's the beauty of zebra - the oscillators alone yield more to exploration and experimentation than the whole of most synthesizers...
