thanks to both of you.. now kiss and make up ok
They're not fighting. Bootsie is simply asking for clarification on the Sat. I think it sounds good, too, but the info I'm getting from their exchange is great.

Let them talk
I still think, your punctuation sucks, and your spelling isn't cool! So there...

i also use both their plug-ins.
but i still thinks bootsie could have asked vieris in a more respectfull tone

So I take it that FFC-1 and FFB-1 are different than the horizontal comps wiht numeric values? Cause I do prefer that sometimes.

Will both plugins be updated, or only the new vertical ones from now on?

They are near identical to the module series versions. I don't foresee much if any change for them. I really like there current qualities. Don't expect these to change.( Besides I have sworn to fellow KVR users I would leave them be :) ) I will design a different compressor not change an existing design. There will never be a FFC-1 2.0, But keep an eye out for FFC-2. I will say the Module series has my focus. There are still a few key mixing tools to be added to this mixing suite. This is why there is not a horizontal version of the optical compressor, leveling amp, & the others.

Seeing as the comps resemble the LA stuff in terms of the "ratio switches", is it maybe possible to trigger them all at once like with the Bombfactory ones to create some sort of limiter?

Just curious.

Oh, and I really do prefer horizontal ones, but that's personal preference. Same with more realistic looking skins. I do like the looks of your multiband distortion plugin and P3Q really reminds me of an old mixer channelstrip indeed. The comps are just a bit cluttered in vertical mode, but hey... you can't be too picky for stuff that is free. ;)

Oh and... out of curiosity... I do love to sort my plugins by company name, so how to name the folder for your plugs, "Signal to Noize"?

Yeah if you push all of the ratio buttons in it sums them as one. This can be used like the 1176.
As far as folder name is concerned do as you like. SignalToNoize would work. My main music site/usual alias is RhythmInMind. My actual name is Eric Beam this is the name registered in the VST itself. Eric's freakin plugin Crap always works :)

Well, don't underestimate the power of a company's name. Until there's an official one, I just stick to "SignalToNoize". ;)

Byagh!! Love!!

Yea, I think your new company name will help it to "stand out" from the crowd. :hihi:

EDIT: Wow. I've got 21 plugins in that folder now. Is there a Guiness Book entry for fastest plug-in developer on the planet? :hail:

Well it's not as fast as it seems. I'm just going down the list and porting vsts of patches i've already created at some point in different modular environments. It really helps to have something already designed.
But it does cause new ideas as well. The OPTO design is brand new.

Ok that was pretty bad :)

How about "Eric's freakin plugs" for a name? Is that catchy enough, Will people will rush in with a name like that? :)
