I think i can confrimwhat i have said above :
I have inserted Exp-1 in Reaper, and if i turn the "artio" knob fully to the left, the sound outputs only on the left channel, and the cpu rises from averagely 4% to 26%.

Hmm, funny.
I'm putting a drum loop through SAT-1 with a quiet cymbal thing going on. Set the drive to max and shape to upper left for maximum crunch. Then set wet to zero and dry to max, so I hear just the dry signal. When I increase the wet level, it should just add to the sound, right? Anyway, I'm sure that doesn't happen because the cymbal almost disappears. I wonder if there's a phase cancellation thing going on?

Ok.
By the way, shouldn't the decay of the attack be labelled "decay" and not "delay" ? Or am i missing something ?

What is the shape set to? All the way to the left? If so thats extreme. I didn't put limits on the wave shape. If you turn the knob to the left your in negative territory. It's not a bad thing, It's a different color. But anything past 3 notch's to the right or left you will be into "creative effect territory". So depending on the settings it would be possible to get phase cancellations mixing the wet and dry. Make sence?jdtrbn wrote:Hmm, funny.

This has been brought up before with the compressors. I like delay. It's not the conventional name I know. I'm odd like that. I think in terms of what the design components are actually doing.sinkmusic wrote:Ok.

It's the delay time to get back to the original state.

I had your plugs in a folder named Vieris to start with ... I re-named it rhythminmind, and then signaltonoize ...vieris wrote:Vieris would be pretty cool actually. I've used it for random things for years.
I like signaltonoize ... original and descriptive. Thanks again for sharing

Descriptive as in it turns your signal into noise?thecontrolcentre wrote: I like signaltonoize ... original and descriptive. Thanks again for sharing
I hope not, except for the multiband distortion maybe.

This might seem familiar to some.
- 10 bands of equalization
- 12 I mean 13 dB of boost/cut per band
-"Proportional Q" narrows filter Q at extremes
- Q width control.

All EQ & track Comps are mine. I also used URS saturation. I was gifted there saturation plug last night, & the Kjaerhus GAG-1 best gate ever.
I used my HPF-1, EEQ-2, FFC-1, LVA-1, & the unreleased GEQ-1 on the master drum buss to make is shine. But I boosted the lows a bit to much now that I listen back with fresh ears. Knowing that the GEQ-1 has a proportional Q it's to temping to push it to far.

I'm too lazy to make a signaltonoize folder, right now any new plugins are going into CVPiano folder, that Tascam freebie.

Would it be possible to make a Gate that would be on the same league as the Kjaerhus GAG-1? I'm using Floorfish which is nice but it's been around for quite a few years.vieris wrote:All EQ & track Comps are mine. I also used URS saturation. Also what about a decent De-Esser to rival Spitfish?
