Hey,
Ive installed a DAW and Toxic Bio on my internet computer and downloaded all the other presets. what i like to know is if there is a reason for me to keep everything installed. its a preaty old computer and i dont like these to be installed on it. will i need it to download updates for TBio or are they going to be a regular downloads? are there going to be more online presets downloads or are those from toxicIII are the only presets that will ever be available?
Regards,
Stomper.

Hey Lhiya,
thnx for the reply, but i dont use FL.
i use Toxic Bio in vst format. i guess no one in IL wants to say there wont be new presets. but thats OK with me, i havent got more sounds for massive either (or other synths that i have).
worst case, ill just install again.

I don't believe that you'd need the downloader for downloading updates to the actual instrument, as that is usually handled via your MyFlstudio page. If you do want to be able to easily access new presets as/when they are added though, you'll want to keep the downloader. It doesn't really hurt your computer to have it on there, so I don't see the hurry in getting it off.
Peace

My internet computer is an old computer, not much RAM and not much free space.
i need to keep cubase4 installed in order to open Toxic Bio and the downloader.
i wouldnt mind keeping a standalone version of toxic (or the downloader itself). but i dont like keeping C4 on this computer. thats why i wanted to know if there are any planes for releasing new presets (not a plugin update).
Dont get me wrong, im not complaining on the way i need to download them, if you chose it, there must be a good reason. but if the new presets will only come a year from now, i dont want to keep C4 on this slow ass computer.

I don't see any reason why you need to keep c4 on the old computer. There are plenty of VST hosts out there that do nothing but host plugins (minihost, savihost, etc). They're all pretty small space-wise, and will allow you to open the plugin to download whatever presets are made available.Stomper wrote:My internet computer is an old computer, not much RAM and not much free space.
