I see another developer's web site seems to have died - nrg-A's http://www.synthepolis.com hasn't been working for a few weeks now, athough the domain looks like it's paid up until April 2008.

It's funny that you just brought this topic up. I just tried to go to their website this week and noticed the same thing. I hope they're allright over there. nrg-A is a hot plug. - Orbit-50

Hi Stephen,

I had some plans for more "proffessional company" about selling and a new synth but I did not accomplish. I still continue the development of the new synth but i don't know if i will continue it. The development of nrg-A was stopped a long time ago and discontinued, even if i upload a new site will exist the new synth, not the nrg-A.

But, probably as i say to stop finally the development because is very difficult to have success in software synths.

NRG hasn't been Updated in like two years. I think the Developer Flopped? He Should just say f**k it and make it Freeware if he doesn't plan on selling it anymore anyway what could it hurt? Notta! More Publicity for him wouldn't be a bad thing either too help promote his New Synth and to develop more potential customers. Now that would be an Excellent Business Strategy. That's what I would do. And I'm not just saying this to try to get it for Free as I bought it when it first came out back yonder.

Well - a friend recommended that I check it out, and the price seemed good, but nowhere to be found.

I agree that it would be a nice move by the guy to make it free, it just seems that he has totally checked out - so even that seems remote

anyone have a copy of the latest demo I can try?

I've got a copy of the demo you can have, but it's pretty useless without a licence number.

The days left on the demo is stuck on zero, and when I loaded it up to test again, upon cancelling the registration the plug makes no sound.

You can have it if you want it, though, pm me.

Thanks PL - Bfunku, or maybe it was Dreaddd, got me sorted some time ago - I was able to run the demo. Good little synth - I'd likely get it if it were still about, but alas, it's dead and gone, plus I've got plenty of synths already
