I read this a few months ago. It is eerily similar (though more erudite) to my own thoughts on taking music beyond modes and rhythms and into timbral textures and morphing movement.

I had emailed him way back then to tell him I hoped he was still creating music, but he sounds like a very busy person. Lots of other nice writings on that page, too, and the rest of the website is intriguing, too.

It sounds like he should have read Clarke's similar article "Torward a Musical Periodization of Music"

I'd like to read him, but I get only the abstracts of each thesis from that site, which amounts to a mission statement.
