I would think that the dynamic behaviour is quite an important factor in how a track sits in a mix. Was this sampled as well for the Api piece ?

in this case it was not sampled, in order to get a better cpu load. You can sample it just loading a different template (so it is transparent from the user point of view). Btw velinas released individual "preamp" programs for the same hardware. You need to use them in chain, and you get the whole picture. It is really a subtle effect, though.

Once you've bought Nebula 3 how do you download the full Api bundle ?

CUDA support? excellent very interesting...

How many nebula compressors/eq's are you able to run on the GPU, on a typical nvidia card?

from their site, using bittorrent.
As soon as you have nebula3 commecial, drop a pm or an e-mail to velinas, he will upgrade your account asap, so you'll join the community.
You'll have also the 1073 bundle, and in www.acusticaudio.net you'll find several gigabytes of programs (so tons of eq, compressors, tapes, reverbs, preamps). You'll lost yourself easily.

[EDIT] I just noticed that velinas didn't release API preamps officially yet.

you can save performances till 50%, but it depends on which nvidia card and wich CPU are you using.
Cuda in windows vista is actually in beta-testing (from the nvidia point of view), it's still a bit buggy. In windows xp is working pretty well, but cudabridge itself (our component) is in beta-testing.

How much longer will Nebula 2 be available at the current price?

Do Nebula 2 users still have access to all of the content?
Again, sorry for the OT. Since no one wants to answer, where is the best place to find the answers?

Nebula2 has access to the exact same files as 3 with the initial purchase.
The price is best found over at the Acusticaudio forum and I believe there is even a new thread from giancarlo (Zaphod ) outlining feature and differences between Nebula2 /3 and Nat2/3 plus the pricing.

Thanks dachilles. I was concerned that Neb2 was going away or getting more expensive in the near future.

@dharma: With Cuda I've easily run 2 compressors and a couple of heavy reverbs with a 8800GT (Asus with 640meg ).

I seldom ever have more than 3 or 4 tracks and my stuff isnt like some of the monsters others turn out but CUDA works well. That surprised me to start!

The fact that it's stable and reduces CPU load with no apparent drawback is pretty amazing in itself. A real plate reverb out of a plugin running on a video card> Seems like magic to me.

sorry, I missed your questions.
how longer: we don't know really. But price could only be higher, so in this case "sooner is better"!
do nebula2 users: yes.
where: in our forum obviously!
