Yeah that's true hahahahaha.
But if you are persistent and you keep complaining for 2 years like i did you'll get an new replacement that does work!
Like mine bcr2000.
It was worth it but now i don't use i that much like i planned to do before. that's because of all the trouble i had before. i was used to work without it, and because i did'nt work before, i kept on working like that, and now eehrrr, sometimes i turn it on and don't actually use it.
I think i should make an overlay fo ruse with cubase or ableton.

Hey all, the bc2000 group over on yahoo has this thing... BCR2000 doing sysex realtime control of synth, like editing and such.
In fact I made a bcr2000 preset to control my Ensoniq VFX.
Nice to have that analog feel of patch editing, knobs and buttons.
I was going to sell the VFX until I found I can edit the patchs so easily, no more menus, just knobs and buttons!

Have a look in the files section>presets.
Also - 3 great freeware editors. BCmanager, BCReditor, and the birdie editor.
This controller is so flexible, I am amazed.
I am also working a new mackie emulation that will use the unused knobs as buttons!

Sorry, the verification thing...it is not my editor. It usually does not take very long. BTW the author just posted a new version 1.3.

Ok,
I have my
BCR2000 site
up and running.
I have permission to host Bcmanager, it is also located at the yahoo group, files>applications section.

I have created a new preset for Ableton Live - mackie emulation with expected controls - faders, vpots, mutes/solos etc... transports and some new twists.


All in 1 preset.
Using knobs as rotary switches, since previous emulations did not use a lot of the knobs. (turn it in one direction you get on control, different direction a different control)
- undo/redo
- InPunchOut
- <Bank>
- <cursor>
- UpCurserDown
- Home/End
- <maker>
Veiw change
- Clip/bottom
- Brower/ Arrange / session

Acceleration - turn a knob fast = controls move really fast, slow = small movements.
5 knobs remain available for mapping.
Pdf manual for usage and description included.
All - Free

I also have a demo movie of using Ableton Live with a mackie emulation (not this current emulation, I am afraid, but you will get the idea.

Hey everyone!

Probably a stupid question. But I'm nowhere without the answer.

I just laid my hands on the Behringer BCR2000. And I wanted to make a preset for Arturia MiniMoog. Well, I've read all the manuals, but I'm still not able to assign knobs from the VST to the knob on the behringer.
I've tried it with the 'learn' function (hold learn knob, turn knob on the BCR, then knob is waiting for midi response, then I moved a knob in the VST with my computer mouse) .. but it wasn't happening.

How can I assign these knobs to the knobs on the BCR?

i dont know if the arturia synth has its own midi learn, but if i were you i wouldn't try it with the learn function on the bcr. in bidule e.g. you turn on midi learn, then move a vst parameter, then move a bcr knob. turn off midi learn and you're all set.
however, dunno what it's like with your host of choice.

Hi, i really need some help, i just got a bcf and basically to cut a long story short, when i power the unit up all of the faders slide down except one, which remains quite far up the board at where 0db would be. The fader's motor is fully functional as whatever position i put ut in before i turn it on-it will always slide to this position.

I mainly want to use it in Baby HUI mode but when i put it into bc mode i see that the midi readings (0-127) begin to count up from the bottom (0) all the way to the top (127), but my dud fader only begins outputting numbers 0-127 from really hight up the board-so i guess it thinks that it is at zero (at the bottom of the board).

Now i've trawled the net for a couple of days now and this the only forum that i think that i may get an answer from, i hope you can help..

I see you develop bcr x mackie ... I'm looking for a way to fully control a filter vst ... Its quadfrohmage . I posted on BCgroup but no help ... Could you give me some hints how to get there? I want to use BCR in a mackie mode ... The filter is a 4 band with 8 parameters each that can be LFO modulated ... Total parameters to control is 400 that's why I imagined a mackie mode with some shift functions that change the whole knobs depending upon the band ... I'm most shure that in mackie this could be done but have no idea how to start could you help ?
