just tried genesisCM.

its really a fantastic synth.

cpu usage is rather high but ok.

I am not really into tarnce but I have to say these presets are the best readymade trance sounds I've ever heard.

cannot say if its just the presets or the synth as well...
-> on the first view I had the impression some patches cannot be edited from scratch with genesisCM?

above all I think this synth is a milestone in preset design.
mr. Ummet Ozcan really is a genius. sadly he will be responsible for 1k tracks that are made in 5min ;)

... off to some 5min tarnce music making :)

edit: any1 knows who actually programmed genesis? would not expect a cute looking mega trance dj (as Ozcan is) would have the time and means to program such a thing??
it really astonishes me this is a usual SE patch (almost no custom modules) and it sounds so fat?! what do we learn: proper sound design is everything :)

I thought it was made with SynthMaker, isn't it?

No, with Synthedit.....

What a shame... Cakewalk and FL users are very likely to have the 'stutter' issue. Apparently Synth Edit isn't dual core friendly which is the cause.... you would think it would have been binned by now!

Do you have in your audio options menu of FL8 "Reset Plugins on transport" turned off?

If this option is turned on everytime you pushing the play button all the used plugins in your project are reseting first, what causes stuttering in the first few seconds
Thanks! Forgot to turn that off. Only stutters on initial playback now. Is that normal? FWIW, I'm on a quad-core (Q9450) system using Win XP Pro x64, FL8, and the ASIO4ALL driver.

The stutter is likely to be caused by the fact that this is a synth-edit synth. See above.

The original version of Genesis had a few arpeggiated/sequencer patches, but I found no way to edit the sequences. Does the CM version have a Sequencer/Arpeggio page? Also, it sais that there's a filter step sequencer that you control from ADSR3 - how does this work, how do you control a step sequencer from an ADSR?
Hardware: Akai MPK61, MFB-Synth II, Roland JX-8P, Virus TI Snow, KORG MS2000R, Roland SH-01
Favorite software: Sylenth1, Synth1, Messiah, ME80, OPX-Pro II, Zebra 2, Diva, Reason, Studio One V2 Pro

I'm finding the CM version to be unusable in Cubase Essential...When I load up multiple instances of it Cubase crashes instantly..
I dont have the same problems with the beta however which works well enough..
Im using a quadcore machine BTW..

Have you clicked on the text "view presets" above the red window?..Youll find the options there.. 8)
