Isn't the new plugin set missing from him?

It would be nice if bootsie could have an official website and his plugins added to the KvR database in order to track them in the usual way via KvR.

OK, man. The computer in the other studio is a DualCore from last year so I thought it couldn't be any "old hardware" reason.bduffy wrote:Sorry, man: that wasn't it. AFAICT, it's my old, single-core machine, which is sputtering to its ignoble defeat.shogger wrote:Bduffy, try it with Reaper please. to see if that does it.

The dual-core is the one with Cubase? My computer's from 03-04, so it beats me hands-down!shogger wrote:OK, man. A question:
What works better with SynthMaker plugins: an AthlonX2 or a Core CPU? Maybe that's the one of the loading factor?

No it isn't. Bootsies plugin loaded VERY slow on a dual-core computer running Cubase.bduffy wrote:I'd say it's definitely a single-core vs. multi-core thing, indeed.

P.S. I'll recheck with Reaper on that computer next time I work there.

Bootsie, I love the plug-ins, but I noticed weird behavior in just one. In Density, I load it up & click on a preset, okay. Click on another preset. I think what I'm trying to say is: I click on a preset and the previous one I selected shows up. Do it again. Same. Seems like it's one preset behind the mouse click. Does that make sense? Does this happen to anyone elese? I will re-explore this & see if it happens again. Thanks,

Would you PM me some details (host/version, maybe screenshot)? Does anybody else have ever seen this?osiris wrote:Bootsie, I love the plug-ins, but I noticed weird behavior in just one. Concerning loading: Everything is fine here on a Centrino and AMDX2 in Cubase, Wavelab, Reaper.
@bduffy: Is your system a P4?

Yep. Intel P4, 2.6ghz single-core circa 2004. Everything Synthmaker gives me a hard time.bootsie wrote:Would you PM me some details (host/version, maybe screenshot)?
