Here is some more information on the Studio ProFiles multitrack groove collections... everything in this group buy is pure download by the way, no shipping world-wide and no extra fees. A great deal. It's basically all for the price of one plug-in! You get two plug-ins plus three classic multitrack groove collections to use those plug-ins on! A lot of fun. Videos and all sorts of stuff coming...
Studio ProFiles Master Engineering Bundle GROUP BUY
Sonic Reality and IK Multimedia have put together a special bundle available exclusively on esoundz.com as a GROUP BUY! The theme is classic multi-track groove sessions and effects to process them in the DAW of your choice! Featuring three brand new Classic Rock and Soul Multi-track loop collections from Sonic Reality's Studio ProFile series along with IK's T-Racks analog modeled mixing and mastering effects and CSR Classic Studio Reverb. Over $1,200 of sounds and software for as low as $239!
Studio ProFiles Multitrack Grooves - Access to the Masters!
Since the beginning of sampling people have wanted to legally sample classic rock, funk and soul records. For the most part it can't be done… or not without a high price and luck in getting permission. The demand is still there for that "vintage" sound and authentic character in the style of recording and performance for use in today's music productions. That's where the Studio ProFiles style-based multi-track groove sessions come in. Sonic Reality has recreated the drum sessions of classic albums from famous bands of the 60's & 70's. Using many of the same mics and gear as well as the same spec drum kits and top session players in LA, Nashville and Miami, Studio ProFiles samples offer that classic sound that so many musicians want.
In this group buy the focus is on classic drum sessions in the style of legendary rock bands such as The Beatles and Led Zeppelin and a wide variety of Motown Soul, R&B and Funk artists. Studio ProFiles multi-track grooves offer the ability to have flexible tempos inside your DAW via the formats REX2, Apple Loops or Acidized Wave and yet offer the flexibility to mix and engineer individual mic channels of directs, overheads, room and more just like you would when mixing a live multi-channel recorded drum track.
Studio ProFiles: Classic Rock RingBeats - $149. Value
Grooves sampled from a vintage 60's Ludwig Oyster Pearl drum kit with the same specs as Ringo Starr's set he played with The Beatles. The loops are also done in the style of early Beatles recordings with the bass drum head on with the snares and toms less dampened than later recordings. Authentic style of the era and inspirational for many styles of music ranging from classic rock to modern alternative rock, hip hop, pop and more. By loading up these kits and processing them through T-Racks you can recreate many of the sounds in your virtual studio that you hear on classic albums.
Studio ProFiles: Classic Rock Bonzo Beats - $149. Value
Grooves sampled from a vintage Ludwig kit in the style of legendary John Bonham from Led Zeppelin. These authentic character grooves bring out the led and are great for classic rock to heavy rock, hip hop and more. With T-Racks and CSR you can process them to create massive sounding drum tracks as well as tight slamming beats that are both nostalgic and inspiring.
Studio ProFiles: Motown Session Grooves - $149. Value
Grooves recorded in the style of Soul, Funk and R&B. It's like having the classic multi-track session tapes from legendary albums recorded in Motown. You get everything from groovy multi-channel drum loops to the foot stomps, snaps, claps and percussion of authentic grooves of the era. Choose between mixing in the style of the time or modern multi mic set ups. Process through CSR's Plate reverb to get that classic Motown sound and more!

Yup, looks great. I do have CSR already though ...
Somehow OT: do you ever leave loops of the live drumming in the final product?
I somehow always hire the real thing if acoustic drum is what I'm looking for.
?
Good luck with the GB (and I just might join it later this month).

Another GB. Wow, I'm stilling waiting for the shipment of the last GB.
Too bad, I've got T-racks and CSR already. I think I'll stay put this time...unless...these Studio Profiles tempt me enough.

of course the only 2 IK plugins I dont have are Tracks and CSR.
Question: Are all the multitrack drum files in rex, acid, etc format?
If I want to have a track of kick, snare, overhead each and want to change the tempo, is this possible with studio pro files?

Incredible, just the 2 plugins alone are worth much more than the start price.
Great offer squids.
convenient sign up link: http://esoundz.com/details.php?ProductID=2034
telebunke
If you feel like it, you can refer telebunke at check-out. This will give both of us $5 in epointz.
What else would be cool? Visit me at www.soundclick.com/wewritesongs and listen to my stuff.

Nice one, those are the two IK plugin holdouts for me too. Crossing my fingers for a job offer soon and if that hits, BAM I'm in on this one.
Question(s): First, I reiterate the request for what format(s) they are in. Hoping for REX and then whatever else
Second, when you say that they are in the style of the major players, I'm hoping they are not a close likeness of actual beats from actual songs? I noticed that the Bun E profile and others have demos based off real songs and that' kind of a downer for me to be honest. But the rest of this is worth it anyway, obviously!

I believe it will be ok to resell the plugins and keep just the loops. Reselling IK effect plugs is officially allowed and there won't even be a transfer fee because you can sell them unregistered...zai wrote:Too bad, I've got T-racks and CSR already. This way, the GB is interesting for anyone who finds the loops to be desirable.

Holy cow! $239 for the complete T-Racks AND CSR? This is a blow-out price for a couple of incredible plugs (not to mention the ProFiles loops).
Either one of these plugins ALONE is worth much more than the final price on this. I don't think I've even ever seen a SALE price for either of these plugs that comes close to the final GB price.
Of course I already own both of these. But if you don't, jump on it. I use both of these on just about everything that I do.
CSR is great as both an insert or send effect. Extremely smooth reverb with no artifacts. Actually, FOUR different reverb units: Plate, Room, Hall and Inverse. I own a bunch of reverbs, but CSR is now my exclusive go-to.
T-Racks is great for any number of applications, either on a mix or individual tracks. Powerful EQ/Compression/Limiter/Soft Clipper used either as a suite, or separately. Very easy to use, but a very powerful tool.
Get in on it. And while you're at it, refer one of the Esoundz junkies you see on this board when you make your order (like buscemi,gmon72, geoffh, telebunke, harmony gardens, soulata, lotus2035, zai or berfab) and make yourself a quick $5 in Epointz.
Go ahead. You know you want to...

@Squids,
here's an idea for a competition:
- people post their estimate of the final number of GB subscribers here,
- the closest person(s) wins,
- but the estimate must be posted before, say, start of business Monday 16th June (1000 PST),
- any edited posts will be disqualified

Sounds great, Squids! I have those two plug-ins, so I'm out of this one, unfortunately.
I can say from experience that CSR is a must-have reverb. I love it.
I might pick up the Ringo pack independently, though...

Don't need loops, already have T-Racks but sign me up for a Group Buy that would bring CSR down around $100.
