Of all the shredder guys, Malmsteen still has tone.

Wow. Yngwie's still scary after all these years. Thanks for the link.

What's the third pedal from the left (if standing at the pedalboard to use it)? Doesn't look like any Boss pedal I've ever seen.

Edit, adding screencap:

Looks like his DOD signature OD.

I was listening to an interview with Brandon Small (DethKlock creator), and he was talking about seeing Malmsteen and he said something to the effect that it was a pretty good show, but then he ran out of notes and had to go home. I always thought that was funny.

You know what time it is ?

Its time to ..... rock! (precede to high kicks and multiple round the worlds)

The man himself is a collosal joke ........ but his playing has been my greatest influence for many many years .......

Saw him at the enmore in sydney in 2006, and his unaccompanied solo was just flat out utterly inhuman

He and the band also ran through "rising force" at least 50bpm over tempo ... did not miss a note

Derek Sherinan(?) was on keys and he just RIPPED

Thanks! I don't follow him much, but I am surprised there's a non-Boss pedal on there even with his stature and being that it is his signature model.

That is DEFINITELY his sig OD .... i have one as well as the original greybox dod250 ....... although ive never seen him use a boss dd5 before (on the pedalboard:cs3, ns-2, dod250, and the dd5)

ahhhh ...... but can batio do what he does on an almost bog standard strat w/ sc pups into a marshall older than him ? :)

And without fretboard pads ?

Having said that, Batio is a MONSTROUSLY talented guitarist
