I know that Sampletank allows the use of installation on 3 computers.
My question is if I have it on 3 computers and then get a new computer will I be able to uninstall it from one of the others and then install it on the new one.
Or, do they just allow a total of 3 authorizations and then you lose the use of it.

Just write an email explaining the situation and they will most likely give you a new authorization.P.T. wrote:I know that Sampletank allows the use of installation on 3 computers.

There's five authorizations to use, isn't there?
Anyway, don't be worried, if there's a good reason they'll give you more.

You can get as many as you need unless it really appeared suspicious. If anyone was caught sharing auths though they could get into some trouble so be careful. I've actually seen some studios get letters from lawyers over that from companies. Not necessarily from IK but from another prominent plug-in company. But if it is legit and being used by you only then its not a problem. If it is used by multiple people then you should either buy it for each one or try to get a multi-user site license which is often available from companies.

Thanks, Squids.
I was concerned because I am using a computer that is way too underpowered and on win98. I might first buy a used computer as a stop-gap measure and then get a good powerful one early next year.
I was concerned as to whether or not I should install on the current computer for just a few weeks. I did not want to waste an install.
