I have been holding off some purchases for Summer namm. One is the total effects bundle for IK multimedia. Anyone expect any product announcements from IK multimedia, I did not seem them on the list of summer namm exhibitors.

Any other summer 2008 namm predictions?

If IK does announce anything, I predict it will not be released until Summer 2009. (I'm actually inclined to predict Spring 2010, but I'm feeling charitable today).

With the recent mix & match deal, and a $100 off from some stores on the bundle effects - I though maybe IK was going to announce something.

If not, I can just get the existing bundle next week.

I thought the same as they were very much behind their announcements usually. But as for the guitar-ampsims, I have to admit I was wrong. They sound so superb that I as a "non-coder" have to say now, better take your time and create something outstanding than making amp-simulations that sound like plastic.

I thought they discontinued summer namm

I am guessing Amplitube 3.0, and to be out THIS MONTH!!! ...in 2011

Post

Maybe I'm wrong, but isn't Summer NAMM more geared towards instruments and sheet music? I was under the impression that most audio software devs don't usually participate.

I didn't say the software was bad in any way, just that we won't see it for some time after the initial announcement.

I predict fender, epiphone, daisy rock (or what the hell ever that name is), peavy and a bunch of other companies will announce guitars, basses and amps made elsewhere for really low prices.

You can see previews of this at any local music retailer or online :hihi:

IK Multimedia will its announce its "Missed Deadline 1.0" which will push your project beyond your stated and/or required deadline automatically so you can procrastinate procrastinating even before you start procrastinating on that project!!!

Just teasing, great stuff but they are pretty much known for lonnnng waits. Worth the wait for everything I have of theirs though.

With the recent Sonic Synth group buy that included most of the Sonic Capsules and Expansion Tanks (and with the price reductions on those) I tend to think that they are coming out with new sample libraries.

I predict we'll finally get to see the Overloud TH1 "4th generation" amp-sim: http://www.overloud.com/en/products/index.php?catid=49
