I wonder, why nobody ever posts samples for Directwave. Anyway today I was playing around sampling my SC Six-Track, just to see how to do this. the patches turned out playable, so I though, why not to share. So there we go, sounds of 6 track:

pack I: listen | download - 7MB
pack II: listen | download - 13MB

This is gadget cheese synth, it has pretty high noisefloor, it's mono and has no velocity awareness - so don't expect hi-fi experience. Possibly some vintage electronica enthusiasts may find it enjoyable. There are 4 octaves sampled, two samples per octave, there are wavs and Directwave patches in the archive. Of course this is free to use in whatever purpose.

edit: it seems there is some interest in this, so I added another pack

Uh, that was a bump from the past! As for a continuation, dusting it off would be fun, but concerning my shrinking leisure time, I cannot tell when it would happen.
However I looked into my HD and I found out that I took more samples, just didn't have enough time and drive to edit all of them. I still don't know if I would get back to it, but it doesn't hurt me to share the files. So if anyone finds it funny enough to spend some time on editing, here it goes.

Each wav should contain 8 notes played in order D3 G#3 D4 G#4 D5 G#5 D6 D#6 (except for one with long analog wind sample), they need cutting, possibly some cleaning and programming into sampler. Take it if you want.

Me want. :) I'm always editing and making my sounds out of samples anyway... ;)

Thanks!
