Yes you can, you preview with your midi controller. You just can't preview from the SC interface itself without a controller.

Glad to hear Poise is still being developed! I've actually come back to it recently...

i get this error a million times when i try to load a new format kit.i exported to new kit.like the readme says using the intermediate version.any idea what i might have done?

You can audition sounds before loading in SC1 and SC2.

In SC1, press "replace" and select the sound, now hit the note in your controller, you should hear the sound. Keep changing the sounds and hitting the note in your controller.

GURU has an auto preview function as does SC2.

GURU is the best drum sampler VST in the world, imho.

Yes, but as I specified above you can't preview in SC 1 *without* a controller, unfortunately.

GURU is the best drum sampler VST in the world, imho.

It's probably the best commercial product out there for what it does, but there's plenty of room for improvement. As I've said before, I have very high hopes for Guru 2...

I've updated the latest beta to 0.4 beta 6. It has fixes for some more of the import drum kit problems.
