Congrats on the release of DirectWave 1.4.1 - it looks great!

Any word on when the Mac version is going to be released?

Post

No news about the mac version.

One of the problems there is that it should probably be rewritten for a very large part to port it properly.

What user area exactly? And what if you download it from the www.image-line.com website?

My user area, as in the area that I, as a "user", can access my purchased products. As in yesterday I tried to log into my "old", "user area" and was told I had to migrate to a "new", "user area". So I did this and filled in all the details including new login information to get into the "new", "user area". Then I went to my registered products in my "new", "user area" and tried to download the directwave installer but it was v1.2.5. But, if I exit my "new", "user area" and view the publicly viewable Directwave page the 1.4.1 demo is available.

Ah, I see now. There are two product entries for DirectWave for that page, and I only edited one. Both will now mention it's version 1.4.1.

I'm really intrigued by the new version of directwave...

however, it crashes frequently and spectacularly in Reaper (latest release): it takes down the host with it.

I'm running winXP sp3 on a 20" intel iMac/2GB RAM/dual core 1.8 GHz CPU.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Also: when downloading sample files from the directwave browser, it occasionally hangs up, and only about 10% of the downloads I've started have successfully made it to directwave's window -- the rest are stuck as temp files in the download manager's folder.

any thoughts?

Could you explain what I would need to do to reproduce this here?

What exactly happens when it "hangs up"?

The temp file problem is something I hope to fix in the near future.
