Crazy by Seal

I am willing to pay to get the sounds, especially the organ patch with a filtersweep, from Seal's Crazy. I own a Receptor and have many plugs, including Komplete 4, Sampletank XL, MiniMonsta, impOscar, Sonic Synth2, Ultra Focus and many others. Just do not have the time to figure this out.
Can someone help? Thanks,
Kirk

Not enough time due to family and professional (non-music career). I need to spend my time learning the keyboard parts versus creating the sounds from scratch. Sound design is not my forte. Prefer to pay someone to tell me how to create vs trying to figure out. I do not need to know how to play Crazy for a month. However, the sooner I have the sound(s), the sooner I can rehearse.

Tough crowd!
Don't get me wrong, if I wanted to spend time figuring this out (which I may have to) I would. Since I am working on over 100 tunes, I prefer to leverage my time, by paying someone, and learn the music of other tunes. Crazy is simple to play musically. I have not found anyone on the web (or KVR) that has shared how to design the filter sweep organ sound.

It sounds like you could do it pretty easily with just about any organ patch you like. It is just a combination of an organ and 2 effects.
1. Pick an organ sound you like. (VSTi)
2. Add a gating effect that lets you set up the pattern you like. (VST)
3. Either twiddle the cut-off frequency while playing to get precise control, or get a filter effect that does the cut-off for you to get automatic control. (VST)
The organ is gated to the pattern you like and then swept with the cut-off filter.
The organ patch I've personally had trouble with is the one from "Who Are you" by the Who.
(I think that's the name of the song and band....

the first patch that loads in disco dsp discovery sounds a whole lot like that sound. You could make that patch with most synths you just need a rythmic gate a little bit of overdrive and then some chorus and delay.
i think that if you get discovery and play with that first patch you could have that sound in about 5 minutes.

This is just that patch. It would be closer with some modification.

Awesome. Timing sounds perfect. Did you redo gate to get the rhythm correct? Or is this stock patch? Thanks a million. I will PM you. I want to donate to the cause. This saved me alot of time.Ah_Dziz wrote:This is just that patch. It would be closer with some modification.
