How much will Omnisphere and Atmosphere overlap? I.E. will Omni include samples from Atmosphere?

Hmm, maybe it's not the same but I think Absynth has something like this...?spectrum wrote: Actually, there's no other synthesizer, sampler or host on the market with a Context Sensitive Attribute browsing system that I'm aware of. So it's a big deal when you have such a massive library and a major advancement over systems with the simple "fixed attribute types" like the one's you're probably thinking of.

It's great that Omnisphere will include all the Atmosphere library.
Atmosphere is an amazing instrument, especially for pads and beds. The demos really give me goosebumps, they sound THAT good.
So, Omnisphere builds upon that and takes it 1000% further...
That's a synth that I just couldn't imagine not trying out. It HAS to be the best thing that's happened for Electronica lovers like myself.

Anyone else entering the competition?
I'm curious about the max .mp3 bitrate for upload. Anyone have any previous experience on this?

I think Spectrasonics would have another format, I guess it cannot hurt to ask. You might want to search on You tube or even the first page of this thread. I placed some links to you tube videos (Producers Edge.com) and I think Video 4 on the first page of this thread might be the one you want. The quality is not too high but I don't think it's Quicktime either.Cabinfever wrote:Anyone have a link to the Omnisphere arpeggiator demo video *NOT* in the hateful Quicktime format ? Wow guys, September 15th is only 9 weeks away. Amazing how fast the time went (or if slow depending on how you look at it). I wonder if we will see any announcements on the next project they are working on after the 15th (or before).
But more importantly- it is July 8th- where is the next video Eric?????

What will 'the deal' be for existing Atmosphere users?
(appologies if this has already been asked, I haven't read the whole thread

They've said that Atmosphere owners will not lose out and that anyone buying Atmosphere now will be pleased with the upgrade path. But that all depends on exactly how much you pay for Atmosphere.
No dollar figures have been given, just repeated assurances.

Hopefully they will have a crossgrade for Stylus RMX users as well.
