New Reaper Plugins/Utilities (Not FX)

Autorender is a Autohotkey utility that batch renders multiple regions in a Reaper project to separate audio files. If the render format is mp3, it will also tag the resulting mp3s with metadata using Marc Schoolderman's id3.exe utility.

In other words, you can use multiple regions for whole tunes or single clips, and batch render them with this utility.

Automatically enables 'play all takes' when used...soon to have more buttons for 'pan takes symetrically' and other actions.

Suggested uses...vocal harmonies using the same fx, panning multiple violin takes across the spectrum, maybe swiftly-panned percussive samples...whatever.

Btw REAPER 2.302 soon to be released has some great changes, ghost midi items for one...

Are there any plugins that make the pause button behave like stop? With rewire, when you use the transport of the slave, it always rewinds to the start when hitting stop due to REAPER's default behaviour, made the problem pretty useless for ReWire master when I used it but would love to try it had there been a way to get around this.

I'm not sure if I understood you correctly but you can assign different actions to key commands: play/stop, play/pause or just play or stop, etc..
I have the typical play/stop toggle on the space key and play/pause toggle on the number pad's zero. Gives me both in a convenient way.

Yep I know what you mean, but this is within REAPER, when using Reason as a ReWire slave to REAPER, of course you may use Reason's transport to control the tune, and using the stop button in Reason, does the stop behaviour in REAPER which rewinds the track. I want the stop button in Reason to just pause / stop at current position, does that make sense?

Only way I can see this happening is if REAPER's stop button was changed to behave like pause instead .. but not sure

Ah, now I see. I don't use Rewire so I can't check it out. Maybe you would have to change it as you said.

I love this! Beta version from Xenakios, Ctrl-click to store snapshots of mutes/pans/volumes...some features aren't fully working apparently but those mentioned are no worries.

I've got a working exe for controlling all the functions in Mixer Snapshots by keyboard shortcuts, using the Function keys.

Mixer Snapshots.exe:

Double-click the exe to start it, or set a windows shortcut

Capslock & E - exits MixerSnapshots.exe (or right-click the M icon in the tray)

Parameters:


Capslock & S - opens/closes Mixer Snapshots Window

Capslock & V - checks the Volume Parameter

Capslock & M - checks the Mute Parameter

Capslock & P - checks the Pan Parameter

Capslock & L - checks the Send Levels Parameter

Capslock & R - checks the Recall Only Selected Tracks Parameter

Recalling a Snapshot:

Snapshots 1-12 - F1-F12
Snapshots 11-16 - Shift F1-F6

Keypad (/) - Sets Focus back to REAPER

Daws-Style Mouse Utility

I had another stab at this and came up with one that works pretty good. Basically, it imitates other daw's left mouse selection (read: Cubase-Live-Logic-Audition etc) using modifier keys.


Alt + Left Mouse Drag = Selection on top of multiple items, also selecting the items

Win + Left Mouse Drag = Marquee Selection


Alt + Right Mouse = Takes the place of Alt-Left Mouse, for deleting Regions/Markers /Plugins/Sends etc


So I've swapped Alt-Left and Alt-Right buttons over, and added Windows as a modifier key for Left-Click marquee Selection. Everything else works as intended, I've got it working on 2 radically different machines and I can't find fault with it.


Installation: None!

Just double-click it to start it (a green 'S' appears in the righthand tray)...I recommend putting it in your quick start tray, and even better, setting a Win-X shortcut to start it. This will let you toggle it on/off with Win-X.


To close the utility, press Win-X. (or right-click on the 'S')


I did this because scrub kinda stuffed my other editing macro, and I really hate using the right-click for selecting on top of items. I threw in the Marquis action since other people like it (I'm quite down with right-click drag for that, but ymmv). So here it is if you're keen!
