Hey congratulations on getting presets. That's a big step in the right direction.
Still can't find mod wheel anywhere. And went through most of the presets and none of them seemed to respond to the mod wheel either. Is it hiding somewhere?
(And, do we really only get to route velocity to one place? Ah, that's nitpicking compred to the modwheel thing.)

Look everybunny, I made an XHip patch
http://www.admiralquality.com/mp3/XHipA ... eMod02.zip
You can trick it into audio rate modulation of the filter. Nice for that growl.
If only I could use the mod wheel, it would be almost like playing synthesizer!

One of my aims is to refute this:hadees wrote:Admiral reading through this thread you come across as a right c**t, is this your aim??AdmiralQuality wrote:Look everybunny, I made an XHip patch

So am I too dumb to figure out the mod wheel or is the feature simply not there? I don't know, how about somebody tell me instead of calling me names.aciddose wrote:the one point i especially love that he constantly reminds us of is this one:
"you get what you pay for."
oh really? so what, xhip users should therefore be getting... nothing? i mean, since they've paid nothing.
hrm, well bugger there seems to be a problem with your logic there... can't quite put my finger on exactly what it is... i have this feeling though!
yes, you can route anything to anything - just because you're too dumb to figure it out doesn't mean it doesn't exist. you continue to bring up this imaginary issue after i've already explained to you several times how it works. get a life.
And if there's no mod wheel, well, big surprise. You get what you pay for, we can't really complain.

As I already said, I would probably use this product if it didn't have such huge gaps in the feature set. I have as much right to post here as you. And I don't move on because you and others keep saying things that need correcting.hadees wrote:Why does it matter to you so much?? why not just move on...AdmiralQuality wrote:

Aciddose accused me of making up "imaginary issues". Well, is the modwheel issue imaginary or not? (I can believe I missed something, just point me at it or post a patch to demo it.)

maybe the lack of a modwheel IS a feature
or at least modwheel isnt a feature he wants to add, you may choose to add whatever features to your own synth and ad to his.
i dont know if it has a modwheel as ive never downloaded it. but aq you are coming across as a bit of a dick.

You have an opinion about something you've never tried and I'M a dick? You need to think about that some more vurt.vurt wrote:maybe the lack of a modwheel IS a feature

Oh and let aciddose use Fonzie's "I meant to do that" excuse himself. Wait for it... modwheels aren't good enough for him or something... I know it's coming...

Maybe someone should start a thread about Native LPF and how it sounds nothing like an analog filter....

Doesn't MIDI learn work for that? Just guessing, I don't have a mod wheel.AdmiralQuality wrote:mod wheel
In any case, I believe many hosts would allow to map it externally, no?
Have you tried to program some yourself? Depending on what you want it could be pretty easy.offensive-teenager wrote:YES BUT CAN SOMEONE NOW FINALLY MAKE SOME SUPERSAW PATCHES FOR ME?
