Would love to, but I don't have a Mac so it won't be any time soon.edoosx wrote:Do you plan to release a Mac version?

Thats ok, I think Im going to buy polyanna next month, purely down to the reduced cpu usage. The last time I tried it I can remember my cpu hitting 70% plus on some patches when playing chords, now the max Ive seen is 24% and even less if i reduce the quality settings.AdmiralQuality wrote:No plans in the short term (experimented with scroll bars and had a lot of trouble) but eventually I'd expect some kind of solution for smaller screen resoultions.hadees wrote:Just tried the demo looks like polyanna is no longer such a cpu hog. Which was one of the things that stopped me buying it. Are they any plans to be able to hide the the keyboard so that people with lower res laptops dont have part of the gui off of the screen??
Sorry about that.

I've sent you a link to your special non-SSE2 version Willabong. Just remind me to send you one whenever I have a new release.
Let us know how it performs for you. You probably won't see quite the speed increase as others are seeing on the SSE2 version, but I do believe it's improved a bit anyway.

Did you see the post above where AQ said he'd love to, but doesn't have a Mac? Maybe if you offer to give him yours, he'd return the favor with a free copy of Poly-Ana. You should askOpax wrote:+1 for a Mac OS X version!

The unshushable Coktor has heard, and responded to your request for a RoyGBiv patch JerGoertz...

He's even done a little MP3 demo to show it off! http://www.admiralquality.com/products/ ... s_Demo.mp3
Fantastic Coktor, thanks! I think if you ran this through a guitar amp (or sim) you'd be right-on the original sound.

A used Mac Mini can be really cheap this days, perhaps it could be payed with some pre-release purchases... just an idea...Funkybot's Evil Twin wrote:Did you see the post above where AQ said he'd love to, but doesn't have a Mac? Please let's not start this again. I'm not going to bother with a baby Mac, if I'm getting one I'm getting a top of the line one. Whatever the latest greatest biggest screen Mac Book Pro is this week. And when I was last pricing them about 6 months ago, they were $5000.edoosx wrote:A used Mac Mini can be really cheap this days, perhaps it could be payed with some pre-release purchases... just an idea...Funkybot's Evil Twin wrote:Did you see the post above where AQ said he'd love to, but doesn't have a Mac? I just spent $1700 of money I don't actually have on a new Windows XP based DAW. Even that I only did because my 7 year old P4 finally died. It's going to be QUITE some time before I can consider a Mac.
And I don't do the pre-release sales thing. The best you'll get from me is when I have a product in Beta, when I discount the price significantly from the final price, exactly because people who got on board at that time were gambling that I'd finish the remaining features. (Which I of course have, and more.)
But to pay me the full price, then gamble that I'll even START? That's just too much I think.
So, I suppose if 50 Mac users want to get together, collect their $129.95s together in some pool, send it all to me, and be willing to never see results (if it goes poorly, if I'm run over by a truck, etc) then sure, I'll start this week. But I'm not in the habit of taking people's money for nothing.

So far you're the only person who can get it annode. I can't fix something I can't reproduce.annode wrote:I've sent you 2 past email copies to your support address Mike.

Thanks.
If you can describe the behavior of your bug here maybe we can see if anybody else is getting it.
Thanks and sorry, I've been extremely busy getting this release released and frankly I just don't know what to do about your issue. Not even completely sure I understand what it is, when you've described it before you tell me what to do to get "it", but you assume it happens to me. Would "CPU spikes when playing legato in Unison mode" describe your issue? That's about the best of my understanding so far.

Look man!
I have sent you .avi videos with sound and one also showing the keyboard.
I'm not a fool and don't treat me like one here.
I'm not responsible for solving a vsti problem I have never had with any other synth.
I'm done with this.

You have the information you need to comply with the refund.Barry if you'd like your money back just let me know. I don't want
any unhappy customers and in almost 2 years of doing this, I don't
have any yet.
Let me know how you'd like to proceed and we'll sort it out.
