As mentioned in the other thread:
I really can't promise anything at the moment, I'm so busy. I hear you but it's just a matter of 'resources'.

Just found a bug using Cubase SX 3.1.

I was working on a song yesterday and wanted to use BootEq on a track. When I loaded it the GUI was missing. I noticed that when I tried to load a Antress plugin I had the same problem!?
All my other freeware VST plugins were working fine (I have loads 220+).
It seemed odd that I only had problems with these two?

Any ideas??

p.s. I tried it today in exactly the same project and it is working fine!

Awesome subtle plugins!

Are you planning to make them available to Mac users in the future?

I feel there's something fishy about this Bootsie-project. He keeps releasing these beautiful plugins that both look and sound as good as any commercial ones I've tried and at a blistering pace, yet he doesn't even have a website and can't even say how he made them!

Is mr. Bootsie offering KVR the remains of a scrapped commercial plugin lineup?
Or is this just too good to be true?

Nothing fishy.
They are that good.
No catch.
PC only right now as they are currently made with SM.
And next time better read up some stuff before you talk about things that you don't have info about.

:-o Same here. SX 3.1 & Rescue, TesslaSE, Density, BootEQ, NastyLF. All without GUI. If I kept left down on the window title, the window updated itself fine. GUI appeared after the plugin was dragged outside the main window and back.. otherwise they worked fine. Tried closing project&host down, starting again, nothing changed. :help: Then, later on, they worked perfectly o_O

Soft Knees - Live 12, Diva, Omnisphere, Slate Digital VSX, TDR, Kush Audio, U-He, PA, Valhalla, Fuse, Pulsar AUDIO, NI, OekSound etc. on Win11Pro R7950X & RME AiO Pro

Thanks Bootsie!

I finally had a chance last night to try your plugins. They are amazing! The BootEQ will be very useful. :-o :D

I was using them in KORE2 - but for some reason I couldn't get Tessla 1.1 to show up in the list of available plugins. All others work great in KORE.

Thanks again and a HUGE BUMP!!!!

Everyone should check these plugins out.

Would donations help with 'resources'? I'm freelance, so I understand.

Oki,

that maintenance update for BootEQ will be out this week too and will fix some stability and GUI glitch issues.

Since there where some complains about GUI readability and contrast I've already improved that a little bit (see left one is 1.0 and right one will be 1.1). Hope that is ok so far. Overall concept won't be touched.

stay tuned,

Thanks for your answering.... I'll keep waiting for a miracle of time.

Look great. I'm hoping this release will fix the Sonar crash issues. I really hope you do get around to making this +44.1khz compatible, because that's one of the only things from preventing this from being one of THE go-to EQ's. Though, to tell the truth, it already is for me.

Post

Looks great. If it was any more readable, I'd need a library card.

You do have one, though, don't you? :P

As always, the bduffy seal of approval on an effect is my signal to get serious about it. 8)

Well, I wish I could get serious about this effect, but SM stuff just doesn't work well over here. Bootsie will get more play with the next computer (come on, house: sell! sell! ).

Did you notice Susiwong's ecstatic response to the bootise stuff in that compressor thread? Don't take my word for it. ;)
