You guys shouldn't be assuming there's SSE2 problems. But I'll send you a link to the SSE1 version if you want to try that Barry. (Daca, you're fine, right? What's all this SSE2 speculation about then? I'm confused.)
Nope, no problem here, maybe a tiny ambiguity in Annode's message, is all.

What "same thing"? This is the first I've heard of any problem from daca since we fixed his bug.
This all has nothing to do with Dacaumodo except that his tried to reproduce my problem.
The "same thing" meaning I get the same glitch in each of 3 hosts i've tried it in.

If you don't think I need to look at SSE I couldn't be happier about that.
Oh. It's all you. I see now.

Got your file Barry. Anybody who'd like to see it can download it here:

Pretty amazing that you can capture a full screen avi at all while using low latency music software. It takes a lot of bandwidth to capture and encode the screen live in real time.

I do assume you still get this problem when you're not capturing video.

And it's the strange fading out that you mean? That's really odd, even when CPU is maxxed, I've not heard it act like that before. The usual crackles and gaps, sure, but it almost sounds like a compressor breathing here.

Has anybody seen anything like this?

- Yes, without the screen capture. hehe
- I have more then adequate bandwidth.
- the fading in and out is part of the prob i'm getting and not the capture's audio. It does this all the time with a few presets that are poly or unison.

Very interesting. I've never seen/heard anything like it. Can anyone else reproduce this? http://www.admiralquality.com/mp3/Annod ... roblem.avi

Yes it's very odd. I had thought this glitch was worth your attention...that is why, under these misinterpretations between mails,I got very angry. Feeling, and not unfounded from my end, that i'm being ignored.
I'm happy this has all been resolved and we can respect one another again.

Thanks for the help so far Mike. Now lets leave this go for awhile and get back to life.

One should never consider a lack of reply on the internet as "being ignored". You never know if someone "hung up on you", or if they suddenly disconnected for reasons beyond their control. Or in email, if they even received your message in the first place. I didn't, and I don't much appreciate being called a liar over it.

Here we go again. I'm trying to be nice and forget about what happened.
I don't need your lecturing about the internet or trying to claim your innocence and my guilt. I'll give you the same spiel you gave me then.
The e-mail prob is at your end. I haven't had anyone be able to reproduce this prob.
Your just can't leave it alone.
Send the refund.
I'll re-mail my address.

Barry, the only thing that "happened" is you're insane. You admitted yourself you hadn't sent me an email since the 25th. And that email from the 25th said itself that you were having problems and you'd try sending it again later. Which you obviously didn't if the 25th was the last mail, as YOU YOURSELF CLAIM.

I'll recredit your PayPal in a few days. f**k off now.

To lighten things up a bit I'll ask a mundane question (that may have been answered already so if so please forgive). I installed the current version over a previous registered installation. Is the new version now registered or do I need to do anything else? I can't tell if the new version is in demo mode or not.

BTW, thanks very much for getting the CPU hit down. This new version has much more practical value now. 8)

People ask this a lot for some reason. There must be some bad experiences out there with upgrades...

It should be fine unless you're on Vista, in which case your serial may have changed (you'll know if it did because it'll refuse to make sound.) If so just let me know.

But normally, nope. Nothing special to install a new version, just run the latest greatest installer .exe. No uninstall necessary. (Not usually anyway, there's some funky hosts/platforms out there. YMMV.)

This is the first upgrade of this synth I've installed and I thought the demo was a timed unrestricted demo so I thought I'd ask to be sure (in case it was actually in demo mode but fully functioning). Thanks for the quick reply.

Kudos to you AdmiralQ! I've had similar problems with bizarro clients and they always come to one thing: they want something for free. There's really no issue. Why else act so angry for nothing? A long long time ago I had a woman try to return used socks THAT WERE 10 MONTHS OLD. She admitted this. She had no receipt and yet thought I should just hand her money because she came in and show some thin dress socks that had developed some tiny wear holes near the toe tips. Idiotic. When I told her I'd exchange them for new but she couldn't have the ones with holes in them back (hence the word "exchange") she went ballistic and threw an arm full of socks at me! Hilarious.

Best to send this troll on his or her way. Frankly I wouldn't even bother sending him a refund at this point. No one who saw the thread would blame you.

Anyway, I'd tried Poly-ana a few times and even though I have a fairly modern laptop, I found it mostly unusable, but upon download of your latest update it's not for sure up for consideration. Sounds great! More kudos to you for restraining on putting in more features in an update and just making it work more efficiently. I wish companies like Adobe and Microsoft would behave that way.

Been trying the demo out for a few hours now, I really like the sound of it. Is there any way to globaly set the quality(like in NI Massive)instead of at patch level. Also if I use midi learn on a knob and then change the patch I loose the assignment?

You can save your preferred MIDI CC map as the default, then Poly-Ana will instantiate with all patches using your default map. You can also load CC Maps and save them, so to copy one from one patch in a project to another that's probably your best bet.

Otherwise, yes, CC Maps are saved in the project data. And might be in the .fxp/.fxb, but not in the Poly-Ana's native .pap and .pab patch and bank files themselves.
