As soon as I get the go-ahead I'll share one or more recordings of the most current TruePianos v2 build on KVR. TruePianos v2.0 will be different and it's rewritten from scratch. If all goes as planned it'll combine the best things from both TruePianos and piano libraries. To give an illustration on what we are working on: Imagine the playability of TruePianos v1.x combined with the acoustic realism of a piano library with a (near) infinite amount of sampled velocity layers.K-Slash wrote:Can't wait to see what will be v2.0.
That's what we are trying to achieve but we still have a few issues to resolve and that'll take some time. I've a good faith that we'll be able to make it happen in a way that it's suitable for realtime performance. I expect a TruePianos v2.0 release in 2008 but I can't be any more specific on this.
