multiple virtual outputs/inputs in the VST and VSTi.

many sequencers (especially ableton live) will allow you to choose which output of a plug-in you want to use or to receive audio from. if you could create and rename additional inputs and outputs for use in sequencers, xt would quickly become my favorite plug-in all over again.

example:
one xt vsti is loaded in ableton on midi track 1. inside xt, battery's outputs are configured so that output 1 sends the kick drum into a compressor, while output 2 is a snare drum sent to a reverb.
in ableton, a new audio track is created, and set to receive audio from energyxt - output 1. another is created for energyxt - output 2.

this is very basic, and the functionality could be used in much more extreme and wonderful ways.

this would also kick a lot of ass for midi ins and outs.

+1 for multi ins / outs obviously (it's part of what XT is all about IMO) and being able to separate stereo ins / outs into L/R.

Oh, and while I'm at it...

This won't be a biggie for anyone else but I'd like the delay in the multi-fx to spit out a single delayed signal when the feedback is set to 0%. Currently it does nothing. Turn up the f/b a little and... multiple echoes. Aaaaaargh! It's driving me mad!

when you add a sequencer it connects an audio in which if you have a mic/webcam allowed causes feedback and hiss.
can this be an option?

I wonder why we have not internal CPU performance meter yet? Is it so hard to make this essential feature (i'm not programmer so i don't know)? Are there any free CPU meter in VST form availaible? I searched for it but I didn't found any... thank you!

There is one which is free called CPURAM. i think InsertPizHere made it (not sure, but it is a handy helpful Ext2 user who did it).

Another wish- now we can set some key ("M" in my case, I switched from Samplitude) for Mixer. Please, can we set any hotkey also for Sequencer? This can speed up my work a bit... thank you very much!

I would also like to define shortcuts for changing the quantization grid and dotted/triplets on/off.
Functions to load/save shortcut-configurations would be great, too.

Browser size is not stored in project file if I have not mistaken, I want to save its size to my default file, so after starting XT2 it will have default size. Now it have size from previous session. Little detail, I know, but...

A big +1 for SYN1 - load instrument with no presets

I also want to save my own bank of presets for the synth. Like a bank full of bass sound, or lead sounds etc, and then be able to load that whole bank up from the browser. That would be very handy.

An open format. Say XML or XML-like (text), so we can use multiple sequencers.

I've just read the first post, but it comes to my mind an ancient FR from me: the possibility of preview loops in the browser adapted to the tempo and metronome of the proyect. Other one could be basical MIDI functions like keyboard splitter, channel change and the like. I suppose this one is a +1 for "was in XT1 but missing in XT2".
I remember Jorgen saying people don't wanted the possibility of change levels in the cords (like in Buzz). Well, count me in the other side
