Why speculate about the group buy ending early? It's not because I'm going to England. It ended first because, well that was the deadline and we don't always extend it. But we might have it's just that the spirit and vibe of the GB wasn't one that I or too many others were really enjoying (not nearly as much as past group buys). I suppose there have been a few laughs at other's expense but that's not the kind of entertainment we really want here (more like reality TV drama). But, there WAS a serious message that I wanted to get across about these exciting new multi-track loops and how people can process them with effects but that got LOST in the banter! Luckily we have tons of multi-track loops and kits coming out and there will be plenty other opportunity (perhaps not through group buys) to spread the word about it.

The group buy's number success is satisfactory to the group because they got the price they wanted, we're happy with it as a number/goal but of course we'll NEVER know what this group buy could have achieved had it been more on track, more fun and resided in the marketplace forum peacefully. There's no question that Calex was disruptive, offensive and caused confusion and chaos whether all of it was intentional or not. Either way we can't have so much of that around here from one person so

Calex you're temporarily banned from the SR forum (first time we ever said that). Do not post in here. Your posts will just be deleted by a mod.

If you complain about it elsewhere on KVR then the mods will likely edit or delete your posts there too or just ban you from the whole site because no one wants to have to waste their time dealing with this either and they shouldn't have to. I feel bad that we took up Meffy's time splitting the original thread and moving it. All of that shouldn't be necessary. It never was before for anyone else. So, clearly this unwanted and unwelcome behavior is deserving of at least a temporary ban... and this not just by me but by popular opinion in here. I'd say that I hope you've learned something from this but you seem to be stubborn and set in your ways, ignoring what people say and operating in a bubble made of calex, causing everyone to get Calexia from inhaling too much off topic Calex. So I have little faith that you'll ever get it and you probably just think we're mean for no reason or something... but, everyone else knows that this is not the case so if it is just you then so be it. We can't take up anymore time on this and have to move on.

I think you are off the mark in this assumption, beergeek. And I am absolutely unsurprised that he admits never tried it. If he had experimented a little with LSD I think it is much more likely that he would be a much more respectful and enlightened person. Such behavior for a fellow almost 60 definitely demonstrates some serious stunts in his self-development.

We're going to experiment with something different. This month we're not going to do a group buy for the IK promo. But, we're going to allow you guys to earn fun extras just by spreading the word and getting more people to buy it. Same spirit as the group buy but the low price is already "earned" from the beginning via the promo. But buying it from esoundz can get you epointz referrals plus extra loops (AmpliGrooves), patches (including famous ones from songs), combis (including song combis) and even some unreleased archives from Moog and Tron! We'll create a thread later today about it and update the first page with the numbers (like the good old days). The more people that buy ANY of the things in the promo the more extra stuff both EVERYONE can get who is a member of esoundz and then some specific things for those that buy the products (so something for everyone).

Finally, I wanted to just note that the $249 deal on the Gold RAW package is killer. I got this several GB's ago as an upgrade and if a loop collection can ever be called 'complete,' this is it. I've got an enormous loop collection, but I keep coming back to RAW for very well produced, slide-'em-right-into-the-mix beats. Works great with GURU (and Sylus RMX too, I've heard).
