I will only be releasing the Audio Unit version of Crunch.
I will be releasing a new version of Crunch with a new interface, in both AU and VST formats as soon as I find time to finish it."

Yes I do see that. Can you let me know where this file is so I can try to fix it and document it precisely if I am successful. I have noticed that in some broken files there is also a H character towards the very end of the file and this one as well must be zeroed in the Hex pane.spacedad wrote:jimi,i found eidenk's tip about adding 0's to hex,but i'm not quite sure if i did it right.
so maybe he'll see this and drop by to help.
i installed HxD and added 1,2 and all 0's to the end of the line and none of these methods worked.
so maybe the file is f**ked or i'm doing it wrong.
so anyone got a working copy of 'pd_stomploop' and 'dexters_clock_quad_lite'?

I could do nothing with this file. It is served as html instead of being served as a binary and there is some javascript appended to it. I have managed to slice the javascript of (which seems to be just Tripod adverts) and get the archive to open and extract normally but both the text file and the dll it contains are completely scrambled and unusable. I have also tried to force my browser to download it as a binary by creating a MIME type for ace files but this did not change anything. Nothing more I can do I am afraid.dreaddd wrote:i think they meant this oneeidenk wrote: Can you let me know where this file is so I can try to fix it and document it precisely if I am successful.

And FYI the tip about adding one or several zero bytes to fix files applies only to stuff from the Wayback Machine. Their spider did truncate files ending with zero bytes to save space apparently. Maybe it still does it, I am not sure. Unfortunately this applied to all files and not only text files such as html for which it is without negative consequence, and that's why all zips are broken (because they always end with a zero byte) and some other files occasionally whenever they happen to end by one or several zero bytes which get truncated.
Some other files may be truncated but only very old ones when the spider was set to truncate anything above 1 MB. Obviously those ones can't be fixed at all.
That's what I gathered reading some of their FAQ.

off topic for the folks that are hip, while on the subject of health..
saw a new doc for my wife wednesday,
80% chance of his "cyberknife" obliterating the last of the lung cancer in her.
happy daze.

Have a look at Oxygen therapy if else fails. I can't vouch for it but the principle appear sound and some says it works marvels.pinkjimiphoton wrote:http://web.archive.org/web/200406090417 ... ~spaztek4/
