Just my little stab at it. A cheap sounding piano combined with a supersaw from Komplexer, and ALOT of eqing. God I am tired of that sound now. Should maybe have tamed the supersaw a bit on the high frequencies but It must be something in this direction.

That sounds brilliant. Did you use any particular preset. And would you mind elaborating on what kind of equing and just how much you applied to the sound?
Thanks once again

No really specific preset I think. Found some patch that's from Schleis in the Komplexerlibrary, and then started tweaking it. A dense fat saw, which I took away some noise from and cut it down a bit with the cutoff.
The cheapo piano was just layered to give a little flavour to it.
Listening to the sample now, my saw is way too bright. But I can definitely hear a saw in the original.

That sounds fantastic. Very close, only a little bright as you said.
What was the preset, cos it sounds really, really good.
PC :p

Gave it a new stab like I said I'd do before, and I think this one is closer.

Changed the Komplexer in for Tassman for the synthpatch, but I don't know how much good the tassman patch will do alone if I share it.
There are sounds where any synth will do, where you can give exact instructions of all the synthsettings. This pjanoo sound is arguably not one of these sounds, but requires tweaking, tweaking and more tweaking. If you want it to sound exactly the same, you have to ask prydz which synths/patches he used (good luck with that
).
That said, if anyone still wants the Tassmanpatch I can slap it in this post when I get home from work. Otherwise, listen closely to the original sound, pick out a nice sawpatch, experiment with the envelopes/filter, slap on a chorus to smooth it out a little. Layer it with a pianopatch and maybe a violin staccattosound.
I can include the midifile of the pjanoomelody aswell when I get home.

Yes, that would be much appreciated. Komplexer does not work in fl studio, so i couldn't use that anyway. It's a blessing that you've changed apparatus.Amblin wrote:Gave it a new stab like I said I'd do before, and I think this one is closer.
