I was part of the group buy. I had a problem with disk #2 at installation which I posted about a while back. I was sent two replacement disks, with instructions from tech support to just run the full install over again.

As I tried to tell them and this forum (squids, check your PM's!), I would have thought I needed to remove the files that made it to my hard disk first, so I don't end up with double files. Well the replacement disks arrived. No response to my emails and PM's, so I installed them. Guess what, double files and double content.

Since I authorized DrumCore 2.5, how do I correct this? Just delete the oldest files? :help: :help: anyone?

FYI DrumCore users. A HUGE 'way to go" to DC's tech support. This problem has dogged me for weeks, wanting to get recording with my new drum sounds.
Well tech support came back to me with a lightning response. They made it very simple for me, and it was! This past week I ordered additional drum pack content and installation was a breeze.

As a guitar player, with only minimal drum skills, this is an easy to use, fat with great content, program. That you can blend your wave and midi loops really gives my songs some extra kick (so to speak). A real winner. :D  :D

Since the problem was resolved to your satisfaction, perhaps it would be good to change the thread title to something more positive. And it's a bit much to expect Squids to handle tech support for Submersible when he doesn't work for them! Might be why he hasn't responded to your PM's.

I'm glad that you're sorted out,

But could you post the solution to the problem here so that anyone-else with the same problem can benefit.

Did you try the DC Forum first? I found most problems were resolved for those who had a defective Disc #2. Both my discs installed with no problem. It was a long install, but the manual tells you that. Like I said before, between the PDF Manual and the DC Forum, it was as if you were talking to Tech anyway.. I don't think you can get Tech help from an Etailer who's not the manufacturer. The Factory would handle the more Technical issues more than "left click....." issues you would read here. For the most part, the answers are coming from many recent users are not that much more knowledgeable than you.

Squids has been out of town with very and I mean very limited internet access. I'm glad your issue has been resolved.
