What a bunch of idiots! :x

I new I wasted almost $500, once Kontakt threw DFD into the mix. In fact, I'm surprised that these guys lasted as long as they did with it.

Yeah, I'll be on the lookout for more Tascam software products.
I've got nothing to sell...am I on the right site?

It's hilarious, click on the "software" link and it reads "no items to be displayed"......

I'm really having a hard time getting my head around this even though I don't have giga.

They announce (er, at least I thought) a bunch of new shit at winter namm. Then, without even actually seeing it through, they ditch? Where is tascam located? Is is the economy?

It just sounds "extra" dodgey to me  Or is it tas"scam" is living up to its' name?

Dude- I had no idea they made these announcements! :x

I've got v2.5 lying around somewhere...wasted a lot of money on this thing. I ended jumping on the good ship Kontakt, once it was announced it would handle disk streaming. (I believe Giga was the only one to do this, which pretty much put it on the map.)

Yeah, Nemesys sold that dino(saur) at the right time. Perhaps, I should have sold mine when I got Kontakt? :-o

not to take off topic, but kontakt really is the only "REAL" game in town now.........right?

I believe there are a few decent samplers that stream. However, the bulk of the sampling market aims at the Kontakt customer base.

The streaming isn't Kontakt's biggest advantage, though it works completely transparent here.
Scripting is the magic thing.

Didn't Giga 4 come out like 3 months ago? Larry Seyer has released a bunch of GVI stuff too.

I'm sure it will resurface.

Larry has even said he has hundreds of impulse responses for Gigapulse unreleased, has been waiting for Tascam to give him a green light. I don't think any of that means it will resurface necessarily, but it can't hurt to have some big names behind it.

Sales must be abysmal.
