thats how i feel. that stuff about agonynx 2 or rather, "excluded" im thinking thats total bull shit. i must say i love dennis work and space hawk is great but, if you say "all plugins for free for life" then that means ALL plugins for life. no "all plugins except the ones i worked really hard on" i don't care if you have been out of business for 20 years and then come back with a new plugins. i demand that plugin, because thats what you promised. and that what i paid for BECAUSE you promised it.

if you said rather "all plugins for life except the ones ive worked really hard one" then you wouldn'sell many, if all, plugins for life contracts. so dennis, if you have promised all plugins for life, then you must honor that. id be pissed and you can bet id raise the roof if after buying an "all plugins for life membership, i was denied ANY plugin whatsoever now or in the future. that my friend is bullshit. and very bad business practice.

I don't remember it either ... and don't remember it being mentioned in the Plugins For Life thread on KVR , but it was a long time ago, and my memory is not that reliable. Is yours?

http://www.kvraudio.com/news/5809.html (24 Aug. 2006):

"Prodyon has launched "Plug-In for Life", which allows you to purchase the full range of Prodyon Products, INCLUDING upcoming titles, for a one-time fee of $49.95."

KVR typically just reprints developers' words verbatim, so I assume that's the way it was on the Prodyon site at the time. If so, I suppose it all depends on what "full range" means (and maybe what "INCLUDING" means), right Dennis?

Seriously? Getting worked up over this? Come on...The package back then was really cheap and this one doesn't look to be extremely expensive either for what it can do judging the demos. Given, it looks a bit clumsy but if the man actually wants to make a little bit of money for all the hard work poured in...I don't blame him.

Well think about it this way also...

If people complain enough and Dennis decides to include this in the PFL deal (not saying that is going to happen BTW) - what incentive has he got to EVER make anything again :?: He'll just have to give it away to us PFLifers...

I think we have a very good Dev here, that gave a LOT of content for the PFL deal - perhaps he should have just come up with a different company name

Ive donated more than once to Dennis, bought every plug-in individually and bought the PFL deal... Im HAPPY to buy this when it comes out.

For me it comes down to buy it or dont buy it - I will and when handing over the cash Ill be thanking f**k there are still inventive devs like Dennis around.

Huh? That's a bit arse-about. Surely it should be 'if Dennis was going to lose his incentive to make anything again on the back of the PFL deal, then he shouldnt have taken money for it in the first place'.

It was not written in june 2007 if you look at it using the wayback machine:

I thought the idea with the plugin for life was that with time the offer would bonified & draw more people in. Which means more money...

From now on, you will be able to get ALL Products from prodyon.de including upcoming titles
for a one-time fee of $49.95 USD!

What does that mean?
When there are new plugins / sounds released you will instantly get download links for them.
You will never have to pay again anything!

Hello guys,
I haven't been too active on KVR, and I haven't spent money on VSTs for nearly a year. I also wasn't aware of this developer and his products. The demos I heard for this new VSTi, however, made me pull out my credit card instinctively. This sounds like one sweet instrument worth owning.
Now I realize that the whole "Will I get this thing as part of my lifetime package" part of the discussion is unpleasant, and the person who could clarify it hasn't been responding for some time. Frankly, if it were me, I'd hesitate to say even one more word in this increasingly hostile atmosphere.
My gut feeling tells me (but I may be totally wrong here) that Dennis at this point is frustrated - one half of the comments says he has a great instrument on his hands (which probably represents a lot of work), while the other says he has to give it to them for free as part of a deal.
Now I can imagine a situation where Dennis may not finish his new synth or decide to do so in a different business context. Even now, prodyon-virtual-gear.com only has dead links and prodyon.net describes a very different business/product.
All I can say is that it would be a shame to see such a promising synth perish in development hell because of a poor (or poorly explained) business model.
I hope Dennis will continue working on his product. Maybe some Solomonic compromise can be found with regards to those who bought this life-time package, so he can regain/keep their trust.
But I feel it's equally important to see a decent website for this project; with screenshots, a feature list, price and release date. If many people hear about this product and put money on the table, Dennis might find it easier to solve the problem(s) with existing customers. If you find X000 new fans/customers, honoring X00 old deals wouldn't hurt so much.
Just my $.02.
