MIRABA - Le Mirobelle Schnaps(MTY-blortblort)128kbps
MIRABA - Le Mirobelle Schnaps(MTY-blortblort)192Kbps

used-
LazySnake (ep)
reaktor fx (part of the ep signal chain- reverb)
charsiesis (ep sig chain)
replicant (on one set of drumloops and it's children)
mopis (2 instances; 1 for rhythms, 1 for weird trumpet transient)
crossfade loop synth (part of mopis rhythm sig chain)
Ohmboyz (part of mopis rhythm sig chain)
jb_barricade (part of mopis rhythm sig chain)
Cableguys filtershaper (part of mopis rhythm sig chain)
AnarchyRhythms (part of mopis rhythm sig chain)
Live's Scale (midi effect-part of mopis rhythm sig chain)
and about 5 different drumloops (several versions of these 5 originals were used thru-out on various different sig paths)

this is a result of some convoluted signal paths and some drumloop deconstructions...but I hope drumity likes it.
This is pretty much the way that Le Mirobelle Schnaps spoke to me: sort of a far away, cool, detached, yet groovy and witty...oh just shut up already, blortblort
damn...

 :P

Thanks for letting me be part of this wonderful project, drumity. Beautiful artwork!

[edit - to add THIS LINK to drumity's post about this great project!...sorry I didn't think to put it in the original post!]

OMG ... you guys just blowing me away !
Exceptional work you've done here my friend !
I like it so much :o
How you can strike so deeply my mood at the moment ?
Almost scaring ;-)

You know I will move house in a few days and there is a mix of melancholic feelings on the one hand and to leave for a place on the other hand ...

maaaan ... while I am typing these words I am listening your tune and it descripes so wonderfully this intermediate stage ... wow

And you know I am drums addicted ... so you hit the mark !
I don't wanna talk about the technical things you've done ... just great music !

Thank you so much and if you are grabbed by another painting ... go for it :D

Drumity

Appendix: I just realised the mood and feeling of the tune reminds me of some tracks from Miles Davis' "Doo Bop" (his last album) ... if even anybody can do anything with it ;-)

Hey, this is really cool and it is the track! Great job man!

Post

Oh, well I just got done saying you need to make a track and you have!

So I'm downloading!

Me and my mini friend both like this.

I especially like the moppis, very wheezy in a ciruit-smushed way.

And the stutters, of course - spot on!

8) I love the madder

Post

Cool man. Even some nice melody noticeably develops towards the end. The beat was Cactus like, yo. 8)

awesome! glad ya seem to like :hihi:

@drumity- great artworks inspire. plain and simple. Gonna try to do another for ya if time permits (frankly, this one just fell into place before I thought it would  )
:o OMG...I just saw your "appendix" post...any comparison of my stuff in any way to the material of Miles Davis is both crazy talk and high praise indeed! :-o Thanks, drumity!

@TristezaOrange- Thanks very much for the kind words and for listening!

@runny- Thanks for listening, man...mopis has been on my short list for a couple years. Just picked it up and this is the first I've used it. Just amazing what it can do.

@Benjamin Tremain- thank you for the kind words...and did you mean *this* Cactus?

kewl!!! I've not heard of I, Cactus. I'm somewhat familiar with 8bitpeople, but this is pretty damn cool sounding stuff :tu: thanks for the hook up!

I guess that the boy behind I, Cactus was all of 7 years old when he wrote it but I still have a soft spot for his work.

You don't spoke of your BEEEEPP here ?
I hope not ... this would be a too far out thought :D

lmao!

No, I mean a small girl who likes to rock out all the time, though typically to the tiny subsection of music that we can both tolerate. She likes all non-3am tracks on A La Kart, for instance!

You know, everyone that has been honest enough to be critical of ALKv2 says that my tracks don't fit in it. Everybody loves Madder Than You, Jazzyspoon, zoozither and 22tape but a few say that the 3am stuff just sticks out too much... :(

One of my co-workers is the god-father of BT's daughter (really, no lie). He liked the comp so much that he sent a copy to Mr. Transeau... I don't know how much he'll dig it though, considering he's in full on n*sync mode right now :hihi: (Wait, I don't think I was supposed to say that).

Lovely work BB, I have to start all over again on my submission but hopefully I can live up to the quality of the current submissions. ;)

I was very honest like always and I say your tracks fit in very well !
Why ? 'Cause your crazyness and non-typical approach to compose and structure music is just broading one's horizon ! Sometimes it's a bit bulky by hearing it the first time ... but you know what ?
If you hear it several times you discover some treasures been hidden under great talent and artificial weirdness ;-)

And that is what last for any length of time !

Post

@justin- yer krazy. KRAZY, I TELL YOU! what sort of foolishness will you have us believe next?
"but hopefully I can live up to the quality of the current submissions."
feh, I say!
...and furthermore, the only reason yer stuff "sticks out" (if indeed it does...) is because it's so damn good. You consistently have ME rethinking MY shit, so we'll have no more of this "I hope I can live up to..." nonsense.
seriously, man! do what you do. If you rocked any harder you'd need a license and a special suit. :nutter:
