Here's yet another bug... Or could it be at the same time another suggestion.
When I'm using a child in the shape tree, the border is shown with Shape+ but when I put it in Shape-, the border disappears. Here's an example of what happens (Rectangle is Parent and Circle is Child):
So the suggestion is that it would be really cool to choose with the child shape if the Shape+/-/* effect would put the border or not by checking the Border option.

it's not a bug, you see, the border is part of the rectangle shape, which is what you partly make dissaperar (you overlay it substractive) by using a child shape- primitive ... it's like if you have a white paper with a black border, then you cut the corner away ... the border is being cut off, too ... totally logical ... though i know what you mean, and it would be smart if skinman could do this ... however, i don't really see how this would be possible ...silverkorn wrote:Here's yet another bug... ![]()

it would require skinman to render behind the scene to a new object, which then could be treated as an image ... or something like that ...
g200kg, would that be possible?

Haven't touch this yet as it seems quite complexe... but you can try mGUI for skinless GUI or to modify them. You can also see the KVR Forum Threaddover666 wrote:oatmeal is skin-ablesinkmusic wrote:Hi, SUbz : Asseca Mgui should be your friend, thendjsubject wrote:

About border issue...

current implement is logically simple. but i also know probably ppl expect adding border to the edge of Shape-. (of course switchable is better. i agree)
in fact, it need a little complex process. but i already input to my overflowing todo queue

Wow that video is great. You are really doing a good stuff g200kg.
I am starting a blog with the knobman tips. I am hoping that this will convience me more space then my webpage did for such a thing, my only concern is that people are doing such great stuff that the info I give is only second rate, but I will have it up within the next two weeks.
I don't know about covering skinman on the blog, I still have a love for Photoshop and I don't know that I want to learn another program. Yet the vid is making consider looking deeper. I think I may wait until the version 1. I kina wish that you had these before I spent all my monies on Photoshop. Gimp, knobman, skinman, effort and creativity are all one really needs to make really good and convincing skin period.
question will you still be working on Knobman. There are something I have noticed that make it a bit hard to use still. But love it anyway
