Well, it's an unmoderated forum, mostly.

But it's getting to be a bit ridiculous.

Announcing that you've released a new version, fine.

Bela, I suggest you start acting a bit more professional. This is either childish ("look daddy what I made") or abuse of an open forum.

There's a duality in a lot of posts, and ppl post for lots of reasons, some of them commercial.

Everybody's allowed a little shout here from time to time.

Bela's new dem sounds are okay, and the info is useful to ppl who are into rare vocal sounds.

How do you think the dev forums originally grew? From devs who posted and posted at the Instruments forum.

I remember Squids used to post reams until he got his own forum

Ok, maybe announcing a new demo is a bit over the top, but is it really that big of a problem?

The demos also help me, by showing the possiblities of the library.

here , I am interested in what they do and if they
didn't post here I wouldn't know about them OK

I did not realize that you guys would feel auditioning progress via demos to be considered childish.

I have contact KvR twice now about add space and a KvR members discount. I am still waiting for information.

I apologize if anyone feels this to be abusive.
We will stop posting and wait for add space information.

And, yes ? thank you idavid, we are very proud of the composer that have taken the time to help us showcase DIVA.

keeps the products in the eye..

I'm still waiting for my copy of the Diva samples.. and hearing more demos just makes me squirm more..

and as soon as i get them.. you can be sure as hell that i'll be doing a demo of them too

I don't mind...the title is pretty clear. If you don't like it, you can always move on to the next thread.

Spectrum does it and so do others...I think if it was out of control, I may have an issue with it too but if it wasn't for this kind of info I wouldn't know these guys exist.

edit: Fwiw - although I can't (wish I could) afford the libraries right now, I really like listening to these demos!

And who knows maybe I'll be able to afford them one day... (crosses fingers)

i got the diva 1.1 samples throught my door yesterday.. they sound sweet..

i do have a problem though bela d medai..

neither CDXtract or my EXS sampler will see the Soloist One Crescendo Diminuendo.gig or the Soloist One Sustained Vowels.gig files

logic just can't see them and the CDXtract crashes on trying to convert them..

i'm on a mac using OSX... haven't tried the conversion in OS9 yet ..

all the other samples converted without a hitch in EXS

Just a side note:

Soloists One Cres/Dim is loading without a hitch in GigaStudio. This is right from the 1.1 disc.

These file names are too long for EXS24. All you need to do is to rename these .gig files with a shorter name and then put them in the "Sampler Instruments" folder, which is inside the Logic folder, and then EXS24 will recognize them for the Giga -> EXS24 translation.

thanks for doing the detective work ... i knew something could be sorted because it was strange that all the others translated fine and these 2 files didn't.

thanks.. i'll have to remember that too long file name trick in the future
