mac bashing (when you use a pc) or
cubase bashing (when you use a mac and dont realise cubase works just as fine in mac osx and you think Logic will somehow fix everything / too stupid to bother using it on a pc / are too thick to recognize bad hardware or drivers on either platform...)
who gives a f**k what you use, cubase is fine...just use whatever you want and try and make the result good...stop blaming everything else..

Yeah sure all the other have these and I use them but only because I've put thru my money on them.
Hmmm...I've installed reaper and opened it maybe once or twice yet, i'm still reticent to really finish a project with it.
I gotta say tho, after using alot of these programs, Cubase 4 seems the best for usability/stability. Except I get f***ing sick of changing cursors all the time. Ie pressing 1,2,3,4 etc for different cut/paste stuff.
Sonar though is really good for flexibility, yet you'd think for a Windows native application it'd be rock solid...well its not...
And Logic...well I love Logic yet as I was saying before, its not exactly a 'spur of the moment' application, it takes time to master, but its well worth it.
Oh and I own ProTools as well and lets just say, Sonar/Logic/Ableton/Cubase put it to shame (LE I'm talking about). Yes its a nice interface etc, but lack of VST support and delay makes it more cumbersome than it should be.
Oh well i've said enough.

yea it will be tried soon enough, its dormant on my hard drive at the moment.I hear alot about the reduced midi functionality but then again I hear that its next to be updated.
Oh and as for my previous post, the key commands of cubase don't really annoy me that much, even though it came across as if I nearly have a heart attack using the numbers to change cursors. :)
