I began this song for this contest, but as I am mot in"***-hop" at all, the only hop thing is spoken words

the rest is mostly rock-blues :oops: , and the lyrics are in french :oops:

Miss Rock'n'roll

Well it seems the last three months have been themes I know absolutely nothing about so here we go again. This is probably more rap that hip-hop but as it's supposed to be ****-hop I've done a Microsfot and redefined the standard :D

Hmmm, that was a typo, but I rather like it :lol:

Anyway, mind your ears because I now give you:

Elder Jungle Hop
It wasn't me! (well, actually, it probably was) - apparently no longer an 'elderly', now a 'senior'! Is that promotion?

Blasphemy

I have momentarily traveled to the Dark Side.
Please forgive me, for I have sinned......

Instruments of sin: Sampletank 2.5XL, Proteus VX and V.I.ONE
Special thanks to the Freesound Project for the Grand Finale.
May there be mercy on my soul.

Used: Zoom H2, FL8, ersdrums, WaveTraveller, Phadiz(P), QuadraSID, Density, Liquid, Fluid, probably some other stuff.

Lyrics:
Rain falls down with a pitter and a patter
I wish it would stop but that doesn't seem to matter
I am trying to ignore it but it's hard to forget
I detest the sensation of getting wet

My birth was hard I remember it well
Although it's a story that my parents never tell
Like a great many children I came out with a howl
But I also came out with an enormous towel

Aquaphobic

At 5 my father thought I should learn to swim
And I knew in an instant it was me or him
Mom searched for us later and when we were found
I was perfectly dry and he was gagged and bound

Life's not easy when you're aquaphobic

My parents would send me off to play
With a cousin who lived two streets away
Cousin thought it would be funny to spray me with a hose
But he didn't find it funny when I broke his nose

Life's not easy when you're aquaphobic

My schoolmates all thought I was rather strange
And whenever they could they would try to arrange
To sit somewhere else during class and lunch hour
Apparently I smell since I refuse to shower

Life's not easy when you're aquaphobic
Life's not easy when you're aquaphobic

Rain falls down with a pitter and a patter
I wish it would stop but that doesn't seem to matter

Here's my submission for the contest.

Not really my kind of music but well... That's fun actually.

Lyrics :

* Give me the mic'.
* That's no time to play.
* Nowadays,
* Everybody gets f**ked anyway

* Holly shit,
* Have you checked the NYSE today :
* Another bank
* Is gonna get blown away.

* If that's no recession
* I don't know what to say.
* Dumb decisions
* Led the world this way.

* I think it's time
* To change our mind.
* I think it's time
* To leave our pride behind.

* [Dumb decisions]
* [woho]
* [Dumb decisions]
* [yeahyeah]

* Think about it,
* Do you want this situation,
* To be the one
* and only future for you ?

* A place where,
* You can get cast away.
* A place where,
* Your work is nothing ok.

* Actually,
* I don't want this to be.
* My children deserve
* a better place to live.

* I don't know
* What will the future be.
* But it's time for us
* To make some better choices.

* [Dumb decisions]
* [woho]
* [Dumb decisions]
* [yeahyeah]

Hey,
I wasn't going to enter for this one....but my evil twin sent me an offer I couldn't refuse.
Here from the Elderly Brothers we have
Broken Hip Hop

Ron Elderly (Wyatt) Music and all instruments
Bill Elderly (offthewall) Lyrics and vocals.
http://www.kara-moon.com/forum/index.ph ... ttach=1987

Hey, old man, you can tap your stick to this beat,
Sit in your chair and shuffle your feet.

The Elderly Brothers are too old to hop
When we were kids we used to bop
I remember the days when we used to do the twist
Man, all they let us do now is play whist.

My brother and me went to have some fun
Quit this home and go on the run
Sneaked outa here for to start the trip
Man, he fell over me and broke his hip.

Now the broken hip hop is the game
Shake it about on a walking frame
You can even do it with a busted knee
Get to meet that chick down in physiotherapy.

Broken hip hop is the game
Shake it about on a walking frame
Broken hip hop is the game
Shake it about on a walking frame

Blue Meanies

big and huggie thanks to Jacques and Karin for the collab!

Lyrics:

Once upon a time the Beatles hit the scene
Riding on the bubbles of their Yellow Submarine
They went to France to see Michelle again
And bought a magic bus to hijack her by then

John was neat, Paul polite, George a cow
and Ringo buttered beans
The world was waiting just for them
But France was in the hands of Blue Meanies

The Beatles turned away: better not to play better not to stay
John lsdized, Paul greasified
George took a ride
and Ringo beat it! beat it! beat it!

Gainsbourg came and closed the door
He took the Meanies to the upper core
And put them from behind
In a yellow lipsticked comic strip

Oh, je ne regrette rien ...

But Michelle the Poubelle
Didn't sell too well
And vanished
And vanished
And vanished
Down
The
Canal

:arrow: Chip Shop Hip-Hop

I first clocked her queuing in the chip shop
I was on my way home but I thought I'd stop
I gave her a smile and asked her her name
But all she said was "I know your game"

I said "don't get shirty, it's not like that
I just thought you might fancy a chat"
So she goes "well okay buy us coke"
But I hadn't got no dosh so we had a smoke
...instead

So we're standing on the pavement having a chinwag
Biting my nails cause I've finished me fag
Working up the bottle to ask for a date
So I says "how about Friday" and she says "great"

I thought - result! I'll have some of that
So we carried on talking about this and that
And I her asked what music she liked and she said "hip-hop"
And I goes "that's funny, it rhymes with chip shop"

And she just groaned and walked away

what did I say?

Hello.

Here's my entry.

http://www.anydoll.net/Matin/0808_m_luhtala_River.mp3

Hope you like it. It is sort of a synth-hop, electro-hop and trip-hop crossover, figure out for yourself. All and all it's my first hip-hop song ever.

Again, I thought I'd have to bow out of this one, but it turned out to be a lot of fun, and as usual, I learned a lot.

Anyway, I hope you like it.

Work on Yourself

SampleTank, SuperWave, ShortCircuit, Sonar 7, Camel Space and a bunch of other stuff.

I'll have to figure out how to do .ogg files some day, because every once in a while I get an mp3 that seems really fuzzy. Or maybe it's always like this and I'm just critical because I just got some real monitors instead of using an old home stereo.
