ok, since i feel like a dirty spammer with all my jams with their own thread, I will, at vurt's suggestion, just reply indefinately to this one with every new practice jams I do, so those who want to keep up with the new shizzlings will jsut need to bookmark this thread for updates and I will stop cluttering the everything else forum with them with jams, and keep the new threds for proper "songs" and live shows

it's from a sample cd i had from way back (something like hardcore vocals)
the mofo fa bass was the cleanest of the bunch, they were all about bitches and ho and ass and stuff, i kept this one cause it was funny, yet slightly provocative

and yes, it's an electribe (ESX!) sampler with 2 kaoss pads, a redsound soundbite pro and(unused) a kaossilator and mini kaoss pad

not seen are the bass and lead synth (tx81z and mks50 respectively) and the magic boss SL20 slicer pedal

i'm working hard to get the best sound possible on youtube and to circumvent their crazy limiting(seems less horrible since like tuesday)

i was testing the direct, uncompressed out of my mixer, but the vu on the recorder are stuck in the red even with the lowest possible gain, so i may end up using a soundcard for the show recording itself (sept 4th)

i'm now searching frenetically my TB of samples for vocal pharases and loop to spice up the set a bit, hence the motherflicker stuff(and other as meaningless phrases i found to date)

i think i'm gonna stick to building/finding music and machines to have many muzik 4 machines calls

i don't wat to go in the move your booty, shake it, get on the floor and the other cliche(already drop the beat and the bass stuff is pretty lame IMOHO, but i had to test the sampler one shot capabilities (poor by the way, if you ofrget to release the button it loops, and sometmes, unexplicably, it get stuck and loop(and the soundbite is brand spanking new, looks like a soft issue (the scanning of the button press i guess)))

What's this youtube uploader?

when you upload a video, there is 2 choices after you filled the basic title, info and tags
upload video, for your pre made videos
and use quick capture, that uses any webcam, usb or firewire dv cams and your soundcard(s) to record live in a flash applet, thus avoiding (me) the hassle of downconverting it and crap out (my) bandwidth to upload it, so for quick tests like getting quick comments on a new pattern or sample set, it's way faster to use the quick uploader

thing is(and i need to test a bit more to be sure) the quick capture is always mono, even with the magic &fmt=18 parameter

Compared to that, my studio is boring. Then again, I don't do videos... Have no decent webcam or DV cam either.

i use the built in isight on my laptop, only reason i started filming myself(usually i film my hands, but it's freaking hard placing a whole laptop hoovering beside me)

Honestly, I've never been a big fan of your tracks (don't take it personally, I have bad taste ) but I always watch your videos. I'm continually impressed by how well you perform with that rig. I simply can't pay attention to more than one box at a time, the Kaoss pad just kills me... not only does it have the touch pad but so many blinking lights! I end up neglecting everything else for these lame filter sweeps 'cause I can't take my yes of the blinky lights!

Thanks i didn't know about that. I'm working on some video atm with magix edit pro so i can upload something to youtube but i want to start filming some live stuff soon. What are you using to record the audio?
