"deer atraktor" was named kated, but as I was working on it last night, things kept bumping the truck.
This afternoon the 'things' were apparently deer, that apparently want me to stop  as they kept bumping the truck.
-They left when I stopped working on it. :?

finished this piggy-on to the nxt 1
kated2

...it's your traditional non-traditional folk music for frogs and salamanders

There is a brief moment at about 1:23 when I thought you were going to turn this into a cover of KISS's "Strutter" but then the wandering melodies continued to wander. :)

Very nice. :tu:

Well I can't really say about sound quality since I'm on crappy lappy speakers but I understand the melodies and I believe the weather it's changing again...
Yes it changes a lot and there's always a feel of uncertainty

Cheers

the only 'kiss' tune I ever covered in a cover band...

but I wander when I'm gonna stop wandering about.

But then again, the wildlife wanted me to stop working on this one so it never got alot of real attention.

I think I want to score again, but I no longer know anyone in 'that' area and I've decided making video/animotions is too time-consuming for me.
(and I don't want to pay for what's really needed to do that type of work)
(besides the fact I suck at drawing)
(come to think of it I suck at composing)
hehe-keeps me from drinking and making a different ass of myself!!

hell, I mix on crappy computer monitors so if it sounds bad on the lappy it probably sounds bad on everything. I might have mixed at too loud a level!
-which might explain the local residential actions (the deer)

Very strange. Sounds like a sort of cross between Afro-Carribean and Trad. Chinese :o
It wasn't me! (well, actually, it probably was) - apparently no longer an 'elderly', now a 'senior'! Is that promotion?

traditional non-traditional trash tune is all it is.
rhythms played on strings and stuff to haunt with a poor imitation of a whale.

Getting kind of a Lemony Snicket's feel off that, which I dig. I'm picturing you playing in the sleeper section of a big rig... are you on the road?

the truck is an old class A rv on a chevy truck chassis (hence my name "The Truck" which is what it is if you take away the "The House" part)

I live in it full time but I've been mainly parked for the last month.
In June I visited those wacky KvR folks in TwinCities MN, spending about three months tooling about the Midwestern states visiting family and friends and acting the part of 'evil landlord'. (I can't sell my house so I'm renting it out, which is a total pita)
I went back to Oregon earlier then I would have liked but the heat was quickly getting to me. (It stays around 60F here on the coast where I park most the time)

+ maybe I was missing the pelicans and the sunsets...

and the surf and the deer (but not the cougars or bears! I heard a cougar scream/growl the other night)

+ I'm old and I was seriously hurting from all the driving (9500 miles on the odometer in 11 weeks) and I'm just starting to recover a bit.
Heck, I even stopped drinking (until I stop hurting quite so much anyway )

How awesome!

Post

the awesome part was meeting the kids in the twin cities, going to a gig featuring herodontus and friend with runagate, _ozwald and MikeBeck and finding out that most of the new 'local' acts consists of 2 guys and one laptop

My eldest son plays in 3 'somewhat' more regular bands, because the scene there (Omaha) seems to shun computers.

You are living my dream man! One day I'm gonna get rid of anything I can't fit in an RV and just drive around making weird tünz :)

well, I was kind of forced into this due to circumstances, but ya, I LOVE living this way (esp the weird tunage part)

-I travel with some clothes. some food and three desktop computers!

-but this getting old thing sux0rz biggie (because or arthritis, I've played my last keyboard-driven tunes and now have to rely on 'point and click' on the ol'pianer roll.
moral-do this as soon as you can, if you can stand up to being a hermit for the most part or have a significant other who could also live this way (yes-they do exist because I've seen'em and even talked to 'those' people )

Yup, my wife and I would never leave the house if we didn't have to work or need toilet paper (she plays World of Warcraft and I make distracting noises). We'll see how our cards play, I'm very far from being in the position to do that (I'm only a youngster after all). Circumstances permitting and all that.
