Tactless 9+ minutes

Still needs some work but it's getting there. :)
Let me know what you think. Too much bass?

edit: I've uploaded the .wav version 'cause the mp3 sounds like poo-poo.

Love it! You own this style imo, and I just really enjoy all the details. Headphones at the mo, so can't really say on the bass, but often if there's too much bass I'll still feel it in headphones, and I didn't, fwiw.

tacky reply:

needs mour cowbell

I'd need a sub to tell if there's too much/enough bass but on the mighty Yamaha computer speakers it sounds balanced to me.

fun stuff in hear aplenty...

I saw! ...a shame too, I think he'd-a-liked this 'un. I'll bump it when he has risen from the dead. :)

My Mom was never the greatest cook in the world but she always tried and my siblings and I always helped. Every friday night we would collect the left overs that had accumulated over the week and try to find ways to make them into a single meal. Shocking as it may seem the results were rarely gross. It was like a game we'd all play, it was great. Eventually I became one of those teenagers that was too cool for anything to do with his parents but I still love really odd combinations of food...

Like chili-cheese dog pizza... now, dwell on that for a moment. That's a pizza crust with chili (instead of tomato sauce), cheddar, jack and mozzerella cheeze, sliced up hotdogs (we usually use good bratwurst) with jalapenos, onions and dipped in that liquid nacho cheese. As far as I'm concerned, it's the perfect food.

only listening on phones, but to me i think it does sound a bit bassy, also highs maybe slightly dull too.

Cool beats Justin, listening on earbuds here and the bass is fine.

if you applied your production to more of a 30's ellington cotton club star wars cantina band sound i'd never have to do anything.

There's some beat crusher in this track ? Is there ? :p

Well... I agree with xoxos. That would suit very well for a cantina band in Star Wars. Man, if I had kept on mastering roleplaying sessions of Star Wars, I would definitely have used this track in it for ambiance !

Really nice one. I frankly enjoyed it. :p

My wife makes these videos for missions that she runs in World of Warcraft and I've been trying to convince her to use my music in them. As far as the Duke Ellington/Star Wars cantina thing that sounds like an assignment that my "Music using Midi" teacher would give me when I was in school. He would always come up with these weird themes for us to base our projects on (like Aztec Industrial was one that I remember). I was always pretty good at that kind of thing, and I do enjoy a challenge! :)

Thanks guys.

The mix sounds cool to me, as does the tune. 8)

Mixing is subjective anyway, isn't it? Everything sounds balanced to me. :tu:

Thanks for sharing.
