Thanks to the group buys, I now own:

T-Racks
CSR
Amplitube Jimi Hendrix
Amplitube 2
Amplitube SVX
Amplitube SVX UNO
Amplitube X-Gear
SampleTank 2XL

What I'm waiting for is an Amplitube Metal group buy that doesn't match up with something I already own.

+1

This would be nice, though I must say that for sheer fun, value and utility, the Drumcore group buy will be very tough to beat.

I find something new in this every day, and the amount of material for a C-note is unbelievable. It's like getting an endless loop factory for your DAW. Ditto the cheap-as-chips Kitcore addon.

Cheers

Berfab
So many plugins, so little time...

I don't have ATJH yet, either, so that would be nice for me, too. Like Berfy, I also liked the Drumcore GB,,, "fab" deal on that one.

I think my personal fave was the Rare and Vintage Instruments GB, though. I love the sounds, and T Racks was a nice addition to the set up.

Squids hinted at an Organ sound set,,, that would be nice for a future GB. I would like to get some odd stuff, like Wurlitzer theatre organs, maybe some more Ballpark type organ sounds,,, just dreaming :)

I love the sounds from the Rare and Vintage GB. Organ idea sounds good, glad I'm not married any more or she'd have lopped off a certain organ if I was participating in so many group buys while we were married :)

If you don't have Amplitube JH and I don't have Amplitube Metal, I wonder if we could split that group buy? I'd be happy to pony up half of $179.

Question is, will IK Multimedia let the two serial numbers be registered under different accounts?

The only things I have left to get from IK that I want are Metal and SVX..(apart from the overpriced Stomp IO that is)..
Another FX two for one would sort me out but a GB would be cool as always...
Come to think of it, A Stomp IO GB would be great...Probably a nightmare to implement though being hardware..

Perhaps a special upgrade for those who bought the $99 Miroslav CE to the full version or maybe there are still folks like me who got the ST engine (at least twice already actually) but haven't purchased the XL soundset separately?

The physical cost of the hardware alone is around $500 once it is shipped around the world. It's hand built in Italy, sturdy high quality AND what it does under the hood is far more than what a midi controller does. Plus the analog circuitry on the input for the interface is console-grade so it sounds so much beefier than most mid-priced audio interfaces for guitar. But it also comes with over $1,000 of software. How is it over-priced? There's also nothing else on the market that offers the same dedicated control features for both editing and performance, same models of effects and amps, same interchangeable components, 6 expression inputs, same software/hardware bundle deal... and for the sale price we're doing right now (please don't quote it) I think you get a great deal! Here's the link: http://www.esoundz.com/details.php?ProductID=1767

Also, for anyone who wants to buy Metal, we did do a group buy for a minute but canceled it and then just let it go for the lowest price for a bit. Get it while you still can at this price. We couldn't have done a better deal on this any other time anyway so wanting us to do a group buy on it is futile. This IS the deal you're looking for. If you already HAVE Hendrix then we have good news. You can choose either T-Racks plug-in instead of Hendrix or if have that already you can choose a RAW Style Pak of your choice (big difference in value there but at least it is something... keep in mind you also get 4 other loop libraries with this too!). No I don't believe you can go in on the deal with someone else. It's registered to one person. Here's the link to get this deal while it is still being offered. That can change any moment so don't say I didn't warn you guys! If you're able to get it purchased before the product goes away then it's yours. If not I have no sympathy for you (name the movie).

I saw that offer. If I didn't have Amplitube JH I'd jump right in. I don't need any more RAW packs, so it comes down to whether or not I'm willing to pay $179 for Amplitube Metal.

It's worth that price for some people, but I don't play much metal on the guitar any more. The group buy pricing convinces me to pick up stuff I don't actually need. Call it the "impulse buy" aisle of software shopping.

SampleMoog and SampleTron are completely off my radar, but if one of them joined Amplitube Metal in a group buy, I'd probably put down my cash.

Thanks for the group buys from the past - I've enjoyed them very much.

Well, all I can tell you is this. It could be your last chance to even get just Metal for that price... let alone the extra groove libraries for free.

I've just posted this in the "canceled group buy thread":

Just letting you know that this is going off sale and back to full price tomorrow. So you have one more day to get it at this price with all of the extras. After that... snooze you lose! I thought I'd at least give a little warning. It was going to go off sale today but thought we'd let some of our KVR friends on the fence have one more shot at it before this deal is gone FOREVER!!!!

Good luck! If you wanted Metal for cheap this is your chance. I don't know if there will be another opportunity to get it again, at least from us, for that low of a price. I had mentioned it would be temporary so... one more day is all there is to decide before it goes back up to regular price.
