Hey!
I want to create something fidget house'ish, something herve'ish, but I just can't figure out how

I've got NI massive, and tried everything, but it just keeps soundig crap!

A square with pulse width mod.. you need a small bit of attack on the filter..

hey,
thats a Foamo track. I know that the bassline was done in Reason, i know thats not a huge help but at least u know you looking at the Subcontractor for the sound.

Yeah, well, I'm using cubase SX3, so reason is not an option :/
Can someone be a bit more speciffic about how the procedure looks like, to set up this sound?

It's a square with automated LFO's on the low pass filter (I think).

Here's a video on how to make wobbly bass in Massive,
it should be a good starting point.

ha cooooool just seen this

i made the track in that clip!

i made the bass on that tune there in Reason's Subtracor with a couple Scream distortions... but sure you can do it in pretty much any synth as it was fairly simple ... square wave and a filter envelope on a LP filter... distortion, bit of short stereo delay or something to give it width.... dunno!

so u have a filter envolpe on the filter cut off or u have a envople on the filter distortion? just one square? im glad you think it was simply im failing

my dosnt sound any near as close
