We received an overwhelming feedback for the new UX3 product series and I'll post here some of those questions we got several times. So this is a kind of FAQ for UX3.
Q: I don't have Wusikstation 4, can I use UX3 though?
A: Yes, you can load the Wusiksnd sample format data with other ws-engine VSTs as well as all format compatible VSTs. Check the concerned manufacturers product specifications for details. As far as we know you can load UX3 with ManyOne, Manystation, EVE.
Q: I don't have Wusikstation 4 but want one to use the UX3, what do I have to do?
A: You can order UX3 with the optional WS4 ws-engine sampleplayer for an extra fee of only Euro 10.00.
Q: I have TSW Pro VST, can I load the UX3?
A: Yes you can, but only the sample library. If you want to use the 327 Presets you should upgrade to the WS4 engine for only Euro 10.00.
Q: Where is the difference between UX3 and TSW Pro?
A: UX3 is a easy-to-use sound tool with the main focus plug-and-play handling. Also it comes with a new kind and unique sampling technique and this includes fantastic acoustic instruments and ultra-fat synth sounds. TSW Pro is more the synthesizer with a sample library typical for sample-based synthesizers and they are more like waveforms. If necessary both products can be combined though to make them a perfect modern music workstation (MMW).
Q: Does UX3 replace TSW Pro?
A: No, it doesn't and UX3 and TSW Pro will co-exist. However UX3 is our new premium product based on the ws-engine and there will be several expansions during the following time. But the TSW Pro VST is under further development too.
Q: Can I buy the UX3 expansion Vintage String Ensembles seperately?
A: Of course you can!
Q: Do you plan more expansions for the UX3?
A: Yes, and we are already working on them since a while. But don't expect any release date announcements. Like this time we come up with new products when they are instantly available as download product (optional CD/DVD).
Q: I have Ethnotronics Pro VST, can I get this as new WS4 version?
A: At this moment Ethnotronics Pro VST is still WS2 format. But we change that to WS4 format now, watch for the release announcement.
Q: UX3 is not that cheap, do you offer any bundles or specials where I can save money?
A: Yes. You can order within the product introduction phase and save Euro 30.00, that's a lot of money. If you want a bundle of products you can request a personal special offer too.
Best regards
Julia
