Can anyone tell me how automation lasting longer than one pattern is achieved, like in the demo song where pattern 1 is played 4 x but the effect keeps changing? :help: :love:
LFO automation.. It's essential to 16 step sequencing.

basic example: create a sequence.. then goto the patch editor, set the LFO to BPM sync, select square wave as your lfo waveform, patch it into the global pitch for that synth, adjust the pitch amount so that it's in tune with what you want (like -12).. adjust the LFO rate so it changes up @ 16 or 32 steps. you can use this for transposing 1 synthline on a single pattern so you get more variety out of 1 16 step sequence. when the square is on the first part of its cycle it'll be @ the original pitch, when its @ the 2nd it'll play your transposed setting.

same deal goes for all fx, etc. you can get very complex with a setup like this including adding recorded automation on the LFO controls to further change up your extended variations and all kinds of deep stuff.

I got 2 copies. One from yesasia.com & 1 from a Japanese seller on ebay. It's awesome. I posted a few vids on YouTube to show all the available features;

Ah via LFO of course, or VCO as it's called here. Clear explanation, thanks.

Glad you guys liked the DS-10 vid. I did intend to do just one 10 minute vid showing all the features. But I got a bit carried away playing with the thing & ended up with about half an hour of video! It's great fun to play around with & it's more powerful & useful than I thought it would be. The guys that made it (AQ Interactive) done a great job. It's no wonder Korg go involved.

For you guys that want to order a copy I got 1 of mine from this seller on ebay;
http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Game-agora-jap ... 2222QQtZkm

Price was pretty good, shipping (to UK) was only about a fiver & it arrived after about a week. I got my other copy from YesAsia.com. That took a little longer to arrive.

Of course all the instructions are in Japanese but you really don't need them. Especially if your a bit familiar with this sort of thing. It's very straight forward to use partly due to it being so well put together. I just hope these guys do some more DS stuff.

I don't need cyclos or anything to run it do i?

.... Did anyone mention already that you can sync these things up together? I think you can have up to 4 DS's running DS-10 all linked together via the DS's wireless connectivity. Check the vid from AQ interactive;

Also on the back of the Japanese box there is a icon showing that the game supports DS link up & underneath it shows '2-8'. I'm not sure but I guess that means that it's possible to add up to 8 DS's together!!

Cyclos? What's that? But no you don't need anything to run this. It's an official DS cart & since they don't have region control a DS cart from anywhere in the World will work on a DS from anywhere in the World. Just plug the cart in, switch on the DS, then go to the bathroom & enjoy the liberating experience of Subtractive synthesis whilst on the bog! :D

It's a micro sd adapter (had to look it up). I nearly ordered the ds-10 but i've been saving for a zoom h4 and i've put off getting that for ages! :help:

edit: or a flashcard adapter as it's more commonly known.:P Anyway i ordered the ds-10 software today (thanks for the link) and i'm going to get a ds in the next cupla days. :)

I know what you mean now. It's one of those devices for hooking up an SD cart to your computer so you can write stuff to for use on the DS ...... I think! There seem to be a fair few third part apps availabe for the DS that you can download & then write to a blank card/cart. Never tried any of these myself but some of them look interesting.
