Yes looks good that one. Bit more expensive than some of the others but it has auto patching for homebrew stuff. I think this basically means you simply add homebrew titles to your cart & the Cyclo DS does the rest. Sounds like it should be very easy to set-up & use. I'm getting one. If only for GlitchDS & that amazing Colours drawing app.musikmachine wrote:@Dogboy, from what i've read the cyclods is the better one but i don't know much about them. Check it out: http://www.cyclopsds.com/cgi-bin/cyclod ... sevolution
BTW: the Cyclo DS site seems to be down. I found a detailed review of the Cyclo DS here;

Plenty of vids on YouTube about this as well.

@ bambooman... Oooh SHINY! Must check that out...
@ Dogboy73... just a FYI - check out the AceKard 2/AceKardRPG (which I got instead of my now defunct DS-Xtreme). From experience with the DS-Xtreme Im wary of sites and forums that disappear but I guess thats the nature of the product... The AceKard also has auto DLDI patching /OS Skinning etc. the cheat system is awkward but then I dont play games so its not an issue

+1 I've found this site for them which has the option of buying the adapter with a card http://www.consoleup.com/shop/Console/Acekard/Dogboy73 wrote:What mini SD card do you use with that?
But i don't know whether to get it with the card or not. Will save on shipping if i get them together.

FWIW, the CycloDS comes with a very classy USB microSD adapter with their logo screened on it!

The Acekard seems about the same as the cyclos but no fancy packaging which i don't care about, i just want to run the music/video stuff and the mp3 player. Moonglide sounds good as well for reading books on the go.
@Aural Chaos, is that really worth the extra bucks? I've heard about the adapters melting upon first use anyway.

CycloDS looked like the best bet. I kept reading that the R4 thing might be on it's way out when previously I had read this was the card of choice. The Acekard 2 looks like it has most of the features of the CycloDS only you can pick it up a lot cheaper. No to fussed about the packaging either. Think I'll try that site with the Acekard 2 + 2GB SD card for £22.50 ..... in fact I'm going to order it now I think.

...... would you Adam & Eve it!! I ordered from that site I linked to with the bundle for £22.50. I then clicked on the home page of the site & read this;
Bugger! Oh well. I would prefer to get my cart sooner than later but the price is damn good. Typical though that I'd miss the holiday cut off day by one day!! LOL. It's been on of those days for me.Customer Bulletin August 29, 2008. Please Read! Team-Console will temporarily shut down our shop on the 4th of September till the 17th of September due to staff holidays. No worries, we will still be replying to support emails. However, we won't be able to despatch orders. The cut-off date for orders will be 12pm on the 3rd of September. Any other purchases after that will be despatched on the 18th. Apologies for the inconvenience this will cause but rest assured we will be back to provide the same level of service when we return.
