bad reaction.
I rebel against most everything I ever learned, as usual.
-btw-this composition reeks of amateur bullshit ramblings with no direction.

If I could sing without the croaking sounds I make, I'd go back to doing pop songs
not for fun

curious thought:
I was thinking about how I mix my composed music these days and the answer is "by choosing sounds that mix together"
I so rarely open up the mixer window I almost forget what the icon looks like. For eq I only use bandpass filters when absolutely needed.
-Has to do with limitless sound palettes, whereas I used to have to deal with what sounds I had on hand, making said sounds 'fit' in a mix.
Creating sounds to fit the mix is generally done in the vsti gui.
Even though I use presets more often then not.

Very odd. Much like most of your songs I think I'll like this one most when in the context of all the other rambunctious oddities of yours thrown together.

The mid-section makes me think of Towa Tei's 3rd hand coming loose and bouncing on the steel wheels while trying to mix Bach and the Mortal Kombat soundtrack :D

hi tnx
what started as yet "another sad little melody" quickly decomposed into something else.
most of this crap just doesn't work by itself as cj surmised it's bits and bites of what eventually may or might not be a larger ramble.
Feeling sorry for myself but I'm recovering from one of those food allergies. This one crept up on me as symptoms didn't immediately rear their painful heads. Resulting in humongous Tendonitis in my shoulders, wrists and fingers until I couldn't sleep, get out of bed or a chair without great effort (or for that matter, typing on a keyboard)-Hints of failing kidneys.
I forced myself to exercise anyway, after taking large amounts of pain suppressants. Started some six weeks ago.
Three days ago I stopped consuming the offending food and have somewhat recovered (although far from completely) so back to the keyboard for finger exercises.

Maybe the nxt one will be- the nxt one with some fun to it.

some fun? How dare! :hihi:
Your tracks are always funny, Bill: sometimes like in ancient theatre or in the Buster Keaton way

I would love to see a silent film made for this. Fun stuff, ddk.
Stopped eating twinkies everyday, did ya? :)
Glad you are on the recovery side of things, stay well.

Runny nailed it with this:

yep
had to look up the Towa person.
It'd be scary if I'd actually heard any of the stuff I 'emulate' :D

I stopped listening to popular music completely somewhere between madonna and green day and had no access to 'underground' or anything else from around 1980 onwards (except music acts I worked tv shows with)
m such a shut-in

if cj reads this: Lark's tongue in aspic - (subtracting vocals) is a turning point in music at the time. imo
war story
used to play Spades and Pinochle with the boys in the barracks while getting high (beer, mainly)and having KC-"Lark's Tongue in Aspic" playing at extremely loud volumes til the mp's would wander by and tell us (yet again) to turn it down. Did this night after night for a month or more until some of the boys were shipped back to the mainland... 1972 or-somewhere therabouts.

Very nice !
Cartoon sountrack intro, confused rhythm between .44 and 1.44 but suddenly it blends in a very nice ending-melody and all the tension fades away.
Get well soon for more music making

Cheers
