well, Omnisphere is Omnisphere and this is the real dreammachine :D
as it is perfectly suited to run by itself so one can dream along.

Sorry, those mongolian singers have been busy elsewise and I think a ten osc layer bed is not suited for this one in order to have some space left in the freq range to add some music by the user.

I'll consider this. One only major point of this is getting phrases and an appropriate voice for the recording as that lady is no longer around here.

i see and sorry I can't be helpful on this as my voice is definitively not as suited as the one present.

I see the 3-tier pricing system, but will there be a further discount for VERY loyal customers of yours (say, for example, we own most, if not all, of your synths)? Will an email be going out with this info?

Also, is there a detailed "how-to" regarding the creation of sf2's that will work with this vsti?

If you are a loyal customer you should support his work at this really fair introductionary offer. On the other hand I would not dare such kind of 'begging' in the open. Think about it and Your good karma :wink:

Not to butt heads, but I have ALWAYS supported his work, have bought most of his synths, and was just asking if there was a loyalty discount - no begging going on.

What a great news item to wake up with, and given the extremely generous introductory price I ordered immediately. Thank you for taking care of your loyal customers.

Where is the voices everyone is talking about. I listened to the entire demo on the product page and there are no voices. I wish there was a higher resolution download as I am on the fence on the sonic quality of this item. The voices part does intrigue me a heck of a lot. The demo video/soundscape also exhibits some hard switching as well- I read that there was a fix but it is not apparent in the demo. I think some work needs to go into the demo music a bit more as this could be a nice alternative for folks (or addition) with Omnisphere. Not sure about the interface- is there a simplified option if you just want ot plug and play with some minimal settings. I would like that option so I can run it and focus on live textures overtop with other synths.
Also, since I haven't tried the demo yet- is it possible to take those 3 main elements and control them via CC# faders (so I can play with the levels of each live from my control surface- for example, I plan on introducing some high pitched textures and want to bring down the sparkle level live while playing it).
Thanks- very very interesting.

The demo vid has been done with a version prior to that final fix of smoothing the transitions. So I recommend to check the demo VSTi - which is containing the voice but simply as a mean to have it as a demo. Maybe due to demand I'll do an update with a dedicated wavseq. for this. In the registered version there is also a MIDI CC implementation and an updated manual acc. to this.

btw. soon there willl be an additional waveset available from http://www.westgatesounds.com

Sounds very nice, just downloading the demo. I think this synth has a lot of potential for further development to implement even more ideas.

Cool Stuff!

I'm getting nice sounds linking WoF: Pad 1(or 2), MIDI Out=> TDM MIDI Input
.. and it runs..runs..runs endless patterns.

And you may say I'm a dreamer :-}

I will be offering a special version of Anomaly in .sf2 format to turn the Dream Machine into the Nightmare Machine.

It will consist of 3 .sf2 files with 100 sounds per file.

There will be a Bass (Anomaly 1 and 2), Pads (Anomaly 3 and some sounds from Dreams and Nightmares) and Sparkles (Anomaly IV) files.....

All sounds will be single samples. The file size of all 3 will come in at under 400 Mb.

These files are also well suited for use in any other HG Fortune instruments that can load .sf2 files.

Work started on this last week but this week hurricane Gustav has demanded my attention.... :-o

More information will be coming soon.... :D

@dnekm:
This is what I'd call thread hijacking.
