I do like Hindemith, as well as Simpson, Holmboe and quite some more. However, I have not yet listened too much Britten and Barber, but thanks for the hint (I'm always looking for good music)

Not yet - I'm working on it (though my scoring abilities are quite poor). Zip won't help much since mp3 is already quite compressed, but I'll try it with the next score pdf file.

Just thought I'd give this one bump. Listened to it again, last Sunday morning. It is more than beautiful. I did make myself a CD and put it between my Klemperer-CDs, in fact between Bruckner and Mahler (by the way I had no clue he didn't hear his 8th symphony! And finally I got the Skrowaczewski interpretation of the 8th symphony you spoke about in the past, really nice too. Yes, Bruckner is still frightening some friends who think he just used the brass-section , but uncle Klemperer always lets the rest hear so nicely, I think)
