I have just found some old songs I created using a sequencer from Evolution. Unfortunately I saved them in the native format and not midi files.

Does anyone know if this sequencer is still available anywhere? I am sure it came with a controller keyboard at the time.

Evolution keyboards are aquired by M-Audio. I doubt they still have that sequencer online...

Was it the MK149 you owned back then by any chance?

Wasn't that a lite version of Cubase or maybe Sonar (Cakewalk)?

@Bertkoor I can't remember which keyboard it was to be honest.

@Bendict I don't think it was a lite version of either, but I may be wrong.

I have found a demo of Sound Studio Gold, a later version which lets me open the files. I guess I could route the midi to another sequencer and record it all again 'live'.

But it was the basic version I had back then.

Evolution Audio Sequencer from the mid to late 90's ?
